Good Points: Proficient staff,good room,great meal and nice location

Good Points: Ease of booking in internet. Good value for money. Clean and full of country caracter.

Good Points: The hotel has been tastefully renovated whilst retaining some of the character of the lovely old building.The meals were excellent but maybe alittle more choice especially fish would be good.
Bad Points: we were on the top floor and had no telephone. A dressing table mirror with light would have been an advantage.
Further Comments: We enjoyed our stay the purpose of which was to have two nights over new year where we could relax in pleasant surroundings. The only complaint being the very noisy inconsiderate locals in the bar.I understand other complaints were also received.

Good Points: Very spacious bedroom and bathroom.
Further Comments: Very nice hotel big car park right in centre of town. Stayed one night B&B. Staff very friendly we arrived before the check-in time and they gave us a bedroom to change and freshen up in and then moved our bags to our room while we went out. Big plasma TVs in the bedroom if you like that sort of thing. Breakfast very good. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

Further Comments: The Hotel was very clean nice furniture good value for money plus the plasma TV was a bonus.

Further Comments: Very friendly staff, all areas clean, well planned bedroom - bathroom facilities good - plasma screen tv. Restaurant food limited but good menu, wholesome english breakfast with good choice. It would have been nice to have had a lounge to retire to after dinner other than the bar.

Further Comments: Convenient location for the golf a very sucessfull refurbishment has recently been completed. The general appearence is very clean and fresh with contempary decor.

Bad Points: Nothing in particualr to dislike
Further Comments: Every thing was fine with this stay. Possibly the only things that could be improved were facilities in the bathroom. All was clean and in working order and adapted for disabled guests (not needed in our case) - but strangley there were no shelves or anywhere similar to put toiletries - both around the basin and in the shower encosure.
