Good Points: Positioned near the centre and room was fine.
Bad Points: Noisy guests coming back through the night, mattress cover too small for the bed and came adrift in the middle of the night, and not enough bedding - not a great night sleep!
Further Comments: Was a decent stay if a little tiring!.

Good Points: Overall the hotel very good and clean, very happy with the service we got.
Bad Points: lot of noise from the road in front off the hotel (no fault of the hotel).
Further Comments: we were very happy with the hotel overall and would stay there again.

Good Points: good adequate breakfast. close to all ammenities. cheerfull staff.
Bad Points: water coming from the room above through the bathroom light one night.
Further Comments: the size of the room. the room was adequate and clean but a bit on the small size.

Good Points: Good breakfast, pleasant staff, reasonable prices.
Bad Points: Many steps up to the room, As an elderly guest it was a struggle. No help offered with luggage.
Further Comments: We were under the impression that it was an Hotel, however as there was no lift ,no lounge area and no meals other than breakfast it should be made clear that this is a B@B . It was value for money but We cannot recommend it as an hotel but would refer it to younger people who want an economic B@B.

Good Points: Staff were very friendly, quite close to railway station. Breakfast was lovely.
Bad Points: Didn't really supply much with the room. Only one small towel each and the cups were very small and chipped.
Further Comments: The hotel was nice, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was amiss was the fact that only one small towel was supplied per person.

Good Points: Great space, great service, nice people, great breakfast!
Bad Points: Nothing
Further Comments: Great space, great service, really nice people, great real English breakfast. Good value for the money. Slightly inconvenient location, but we enjoyed the walk.

Good Points: It was close to the main part of the tourist area, the staff were friendly and accommodating
Bad Points: The property had been developed to an extent that it was a bit of a maze of corridors and stairs
Further Comments: We need accommodation for a short stay in York for sightseeing and this accommodation suited our requirements and was reasonably priced

Good Points: location and breakfast
Bad Points: the shower,very weak and the drain still couldn't cope!
Further Comments: Nice hotel and location the only downside to our stay was the very poor shower.
