Further Comments: the weather was at its worst so we could not visit any of the atrections (unless you are supper human you could not have helped) you were helpfull in whear to go and what to do as a local, that makes a great diffrance when in a strange place.

Bad Points: Expensive, pokey room, with en-suite much too small. Breakfast very poor.

Further Comments: Altogether a delightful stay. The room was small but not overly so, cosy and complete with a lovely little en-suite bathroom. The proprieter was very friendly and helpful in guiding us to our ferry departure. A refreshing continental breakfast was offered-just right for those who don't eat a hot breakfast first thing in the morning. Close enough to the city center to nip down for a bite of dinner and a pint at the local. One of the nicer B&B's we've stayed in.

Further Comments: WE were only there fromm 11pm to 6am most of which we were asleep. However, the owner received us in a welcoming manner and did as he promised and left some tea for us early in the morning. Despite his sign saying that there would be an additional charge for settling by debit card (something I would have challenged) he did not in fact add this to the bill

Bad Points: The room was enough but not worth the money we had to pay for, it was quite small particularly the shower/toiletroom Not a big problem but there was no soap and/or shampoo in the shower and there was no coffee and just 2 teabags
Further Comments: We normally have no problems with the hotels we booked via this site but this time we found the overall value for money very poor. We have had better rooms in Dover, near the Clare House, for less money

Good Points: It had secure parking. Convenient for town centre and port.
Bad Points: Charge for using Debit card. Cooked breakfast was good, but not told what it contained in advance, so unable to decline an item if not wanted or not liked.
