Good Points: Everything: lovely big modern room, excellent price and lovely atmospheric bar and lounge.
Bad Points: Because the hotel was so busy there were queues at mealtimes, however, staff were very attentive and worked hard to compensate.
Further Comments: I would recommend the hotel on all levels. This was a second visit. This time refurbishments were complete and the room was in excellent order. Staff were generally excellent. Food and drinks were good.

Good Points: Being in the old part of the building, full of character; lovely view over the garden of New Place and the Guild Chapel.
Bad Points: Freezing cold in the bathroom where there is no heating.
Further Comments: We have stayed in The Falcon many times, because of its proximity to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the town centre. We also appreciate the free parking available to guests. The Hotel has a lovely atmosphere, especially in the old part. Excellent breakfast; sorry that pre-theatre supper is no longer offered. Most helpful and friendly staff.

Good Points: Excellent central location with onsite parking.
Bad Points: Extremely dated grotty room, however bedlinen and towels were clean.
Further Comments: After reading mixed reviews on this hotel we weren't sure what to expect but for the price we took a chance. Unfortunately we were allocated one of the bedrooms in the old part of the building that was awaiting refurbishment. I am guessing the room hadn't been decorated in at least 30 years but the towels and bed linen were immaculate so didn't complain. There was no shower in the room and we were above the suite holding the Chrismas parties so the disco didn't stop until 1am. Plus points on this hotel are fabulous location with free parking. I am sure after refurbishment this hotel will be superb, but by then probably the prices will be way out of our reach!

Good Points: Fantastic size rooms, recently refurbished with all mod cons and brand new bathrooms. Wonderful location for discovering the delights of Stratford. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the room service bountiful. Good size car park for a town centre hotel.
Bad Points: The reception is yet to be modernised so dont judge the whole hotel on this. The staff were a little be scatty but helpful.
Further Comments: The hotel was excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel.....even with it's shaky lift!

Good Points: The refurbished room was spotless and a good size. We were pleasantly surprised and the bed was VERY comfortable!
Bad Points: We were on the 2nd floor and it was extremely hot! But we could open the windows so it was just about bearable.
Further Comments: The reception area was very shabby but hopefully they will bring this up to standard as it's a bit off putting when you enter and not a true reflection of the rooms. Also if you are planning on coming back to the hotel late at night be prepared to hang around outside to be let in by the night porter!!!

Good Points: overall every good, love the old part of the hotel, just what we were expecting only better.
Bad Points: every thing was perfect
Further Comments: Hotel better than we expected, room was great, in the old part of the hotel, rom was warm and clean. A very pleasent stay, we will return.

Further Comments: Very central position, well decorated and charming room and lovely breakfast in the morning. Would definately recomend staying here.

Bad Points: Very small room no shower to speak of in room
Further Comments: The shower in the room was one that you had to put on the taps not something you would want by todays standards.Room very small and no towels in room on arrival.

Good Points: The hotel was very conveniently situated in the centre of town. We were [eventually] given a recently refurbished room, the quality of which was very good.
Bad Points: The first room we were given was in the 'old' part of the hotel - a very quaint little space on the top floor with very low ceilings, rather tired interior fittings and fixtures, and an incredibly grubby bathroom with no shower - but with fresh hairs, as well as ingrained dirt, in the bath! We complained straight away, and were offered a newly refurbished room on the floor below, which we took, and which was lovely.
Further Comments: Once we were moved to a clean and comfortable room, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The breakfast was excellent and offered a good choice of food. The location was perfect, and we appreciated staying in the charming 'olde worlde' part of the hotel, but with the comforts of a recently refurbished room with modern bathroom. Before booking this accommodation, I would have liked to have been informed about the quality of certain rooms, such as the one we were initially given, which we felt did not match the three star rating awarded to the hotel, in terms of cleanliness and quality. Once these older, tired rooms are all fully refurbished, this will be a wonderful hotel.
