Further Comments: Enjoyable stay- staff helpful. Breakfast very good. Close to amenities. Situated in very pleasant grounds. late entry at night without problem. Bin Men in early morning was not good! Place with lots of character.

Further Comments: Beautiful country house set in parkland and a golf course. Convenient for walks and golf. Childrens animal petting area also in the park. friendly and helpful staff.

Good Points: Quick response,both for accomodation and booking of 4 rounds of golf was excellent!
Bad Points: Seems like They had management problem, but thestaff solved it perfectly!
Further Comments: We are very pleased, and we will return sometime at fall!

Bad Points: Room could benfit from a good refurbishment.
Further Comments: Overall the accomodation is fine but i suspect that some if not all of the rooms could do with refurbishment. I noticed that some work was being carried out to general areas and would hope that this would be extended to the rooms. The restaurant was excellent and the golf course looked in good condition.

Good Points: The Hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and the staff were very helpful and friendly
Bad Points: Some areas needed updatring
Further Comments: As it was only an overnight stay we had no great needs. The shower was really good - after a very long day! It was lovely to be able to walk around the beautiful parklands in the morning. The breakfast was substantial with hot toast!

Bad Points: considering the value for money aspect, any improvements would result in an increase on price which would not have resulted in an excellent last minute overnight stay
Further Comments: ayr is a wonderfull seaside resort and the hotel does it justice . warm welcome and service at breakfast first class. lovely walks and the animal sanctuary. WELL WORTH THE VISIT

Good Points: the building itself is breath taking and has kept its caracter.the room was large and had everything that you need.
Further Comments: the hotel,grounds everything is so well maintained,the staff so polite and friendly nothing was to much trouble.the food was amazing and very reasonly priced,the animal farm was a pleasent touch with the many unwanted pets given a home there and was lovely to see the deers living in harmony with the ponies.highly recomended!
