Good Points: Apartment was great size. Great having a PS2 in the room for music.
Bad Points: Confusion about where to check-in.
Further Comments: Apartment block was in a great location on Bath Street, close to shops and only a short walk to the Arches and other pubs/clubs. We stayed in a two-bedroomed apartment with kitchen, 2 bathrooms and separate living/dining area with large tv and PS2, and the apartment couldn't be faulted! Like other guests, we had some trouble finding where to check-in although I notice details are now given on the activehotels site!

Bad Points: I expected it to be noisey with it being the in the middle of the city but at night it was hard to sleep as the windows sounded as if they were open even though they were closed.

Good Points: The separate bedrooms, the central locations, the en-suite and the kitchen facilities.
Bad Points: The leather sofa and assorted leather furniture/trimmings, the smell in the master bedroom, the cold in the second bedroomm, the dirt/dust all over the floors, the cold tap in the en-suite which did not work, the windows which did not close properly, lack of parking.

Bad Points: Well, I was told that the room was double booked. We were put into a superior room in the hotel. We had bought raw meats to cook in the kitchen of our apartment but the room in the hotel had no kitchen. We were not offered any breakfast until I asked them and told that we had wasted money on food we couldn't cook. The blind in our room was never fixed as promised. The plasma tv didn't work all the time just occasionally. Towel changes and mini bar replenishment done at odd times in the evening. Toilet roll holder fell off the wall. Room not big enough for four adults.

Good Points: Spacious, central, good facilities
Bad Points: Lack of furniture, only 3 dining chairs. Also lack of crockery, it appears as though some broken items have not been replaced.
Further Comments: It would have been useful to know more about the check-in process and the car parking before arrival. Overall, the accommodation was perfect for our needs, providing separate rooms for ourselves and 2 teenage girls. The girls appreciated the freedom of the apartment (and the play station) while we were out in the evening. The location close to theatres and restaurants would make it a place we would use again.

Good Points: furniture, modern feel clean, overnight carpark conveniently located although a discount or voucher should be available for patrons of your establishment close to motorway and theatre.
Bad Points: The most inconvenient was that there was no phone in the apartment. The building would be far more convenient if it had wireless internet access. Not having either a phone or internet acces is extremely inconvenient whether travelling on business or personal travel. Lobby unclean, carpets dirty.

Good Points: The luxury of the apartments was fantastic. Also the location was excellant. We were all very impressed with the standard of accommodation and also the value for money.
Bad Points: The windows in one bedroom didn't close properly so it was very noisy at night. However this was only the case in one of the four bedrooms.
Further Comments: It would have been more useful to know that you had to check in elsewhere - at the City Aparthotel along the road. Also, the booking confirmation advised that payment would be taken 7 days prior to stay. However payment was taken at check-in. Overall the city apartments are a fantastic place to stay to see Glasgow and they make a great - and more than comfortable - base for a weekend away.

Bad Points: It felt clinical. A couple of extra furnishings would have really made it felt like 'home from home' as it was described. Although a dishwasher and other facilities were available, there were no dish cloths or detergent - it felt unnecessary to invest in these items for just a couple of nights stay but not good washing up after a cup of tea in just water! The automatic closing of the doors should be dampened or removed - they just kept on slamming shut and we had to find something to hold the living room door open.
Further Comments: Well situated in the centre of the city with many facilities. Guests must take own detergent for washing machine and dishwasher etc although bedding, towelling and shower gel are provided.
