Good Points: Location to the airport...duvet on beds...
Bad Points: Food offering, (breakfast was awful), room facilities (2 twin beds together at different heights)
Further Comments: The hotel had a secret code for the car park entrance which was on slips of paper at the reception desk for anybody to take. The breakfast smelled awful and alot of the crockery was dirty. Food was also a little over priced for what you got... The morning staff were really friendly though Rooms were really basic but adequate for needs, however these were a little over priced...

Good Points: location
Bad Points: if the hotel staff actually spoke to each other, i told FIVE different members of staff that i was waiting for a package from a courier, all said they knew nothing. When i rang the courier company thay said it had been delivered the previous day!! great
Further Comments: it's just a bog standard box, but it's cheap

Bad Points: The check in process was very slow. Wouldn't usually be as noticable, but we were behind a large group and it took both receptionists around 20 minutes to check the whole group in. A third receptionist came to assist after 10 minutes or so, which helped, but perhaps allocating 1 receptionist to the large group would be more efficient - thus freeing up the other 2 to serve the rest of the queue.
Further Comments: Other than check in, very good... friendly, clean and generally good value.

Good Points: the room was very clean and spacious. it had all facilities I required. the bathroom was very good as well. I especially liked the fact that I could fix the room temperature on my own.
Further Comments: A very nice hotel. Really enjoyed my stay there. The only 'negative' for me was that the hotel was not as close as I expected from the NEC. I had to use a Taxi everytime

Good Points: The bed was lovely & big, it was a shame that only smoking rooms were left as I'm a non smoker. Also the fan in the bathroom went on for ages after one turned out the light
Bad Points: The staf were wonderful & very helpful especially in the bar & dining room, it's just a shame there were not enough tables in the dining room proper so we had to sit in the smoking part of the bar to eat; again as a non smoker i would really appreciate it being totally non smoking in all public areas.
Further Comments: The Premier Travel Inn is a decent, albeit generic, hotel supplying somewhere to sleep & eat when attending the NEC. I travel an awful lot within the UK for work & get very bored & fed up with pub food in hotels - I'm an ex chef & know when things are bought in ready made from Brakes Brothers. I had to send back very dried up Mediterranean Mussels - the staff were extremely helpful & suggested rare steak instead. I cannot fault the superb staff who were all welcoming & went out of their way to help me - a rare thing indeed. I tend to choose independent hotels as they have more choice on rooms & in their menus.

Good Points: Good quiet room. Big comfortable bed. Convenient area. Good parking. Bar facilities good. Restaurant looked small for the size of the hotel (but I did not use it so can't rate efficency, etc)
Bad Points: Slightly quicker checking-in procedure.
Further Comments: Very good value for money, considering the area. I liked the fact that I could pay cash at check-in so no checking-out procedures needed.
