Bad Points: lovely single room but a little dark. one window lost due to bathroom conversion so made it a little cell like.

Good Points: beautiful setting, courteous and helpful staff
Further Comments: lovely hotel in nice grounds, very helpful staff. while the bar was still open there didn't seem any food available in the evening ( I arrived at 9pm) . would have been good to know in advance, maybe I didn't read the website properly.

Good Points: It was a very nice hotel with excellent grounds. Well maintained
Bad Points: The size of the television. It was far too small for the size of the room.
Further Comments: We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. It was a lovely old building with well kept grounds. We had picked it from the internet at very short notice, as we had to change our accomodation plans at short notice. The room was adequate and for the price represented good value for money, it even included a full English breakfast. Which ws excellent. The only down side was the size of the television for the size of the room. I would be happy to stay in the same hotel in the future.

Further Comments: All in all, a very pleasant overnight stay. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to get away from it all and relax in beautiful surroundings.

Further Comments: I did not stay, the rooms were booked by my secretary for 5 of my engineers attending a course. The feedback from them is that the hotel was very good in every respect.

Good Points: Very efficient and professional staff. Excellent dinner.
Further Comments: Beautiful bulding in very spacious grounds. Very quiet location. Overall standard of accommodation, service and cuisine at a level usually found in much more expensive hotels.

Good Points: Large room with enough seating plus cot for the little one without feeling crowded at all.
Bad Points: The view was rather poor as we had an attic sort of room with high windows. This also meant that we had to manage with the baby's carseat and a toddler up quite a lot of stairs. (To be fair we did not ask them to provide an alternative room)
Further Comments: Lovely place. Beautiful manor with superb grounds. Idyllic retreat. The breakfast was generous and delicious and the service was impeccable. Few areas where the hotel could improve: 1. Provide room service with a set menu or requests. 2. There was no lighting over the dressing talbe so had to get ready in the bathroom. 3. A small leaflet with the history of the manor would have made the stay even more special. Overall, very friendly efficient staff and gorgeous place., Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to friends.

Good Points: friendly staff, cleanliness of hotel and the picturesque grounds.
Bad Points: nothing to dislike,apart from our next door neighbour talking quite loud most of the night,a gentle knock on the wall did the trick.

Further Comments: Well trained, friendly and professional staff. Well appointed room with comfortable bed, tasteful decoration through out. Dinner was excellent and the hotel setting was quiet and the surrounding estate was well maintained. It had a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and as a woman I would be happy to stay here on my own when on business.
