Good Points: Sea front location
Bad Points: Dreary decoration and awful bar area
Further Comments: Hotel could do with modernisation and decoration. Check in staff were surly and unhelpful. Bar staff were friendly despite working in the most awful hotel bar I have experienced

Good Points: the viewfrom our room was amazing
Bad Points: window in room was not allowed to be opened
Further Comments: windows were locked shut, so there was no fresh air at all during our stay. did ask reception to open window but they said they were not allowed due to health & safety. we should have been informed of this before we decided to book

Good Points: The room was very nice - albeit on the 7th floor - when it was very windy. The view was great - when the mist cleared.
Further Comments: The hotel was good, staff very helpful when we struggled to locate the hotel location. Breakfast was yummy. All in all - a good time.

Good Points: The accomodation was clean with good facilities and a fantastic sea view.
Bad Points: The only negative point regarding the accomodation was the decoration of the room,it did require a coat of paint to make it really presentable.
Further Comments: Overall the price we paid for two nights B & B represented good value for money and the food in the dining room was superb.

Good Points: I was pleased with what the hotel had to offer and had a lovely stay.
Bad Points: The only thing i can fault was the noise of the wind through the window.

Good Points: The sea view was stunning from the sea facing room. The car park facility was excellent.
Bad Points: The exterior of the hotel put me off a little, didn'tfit in with its surroundings. The bathroom although clean needed an extractor fan as there was mould on the walls and ceiling.
Further Comments: Overall a nice clean hotel, with pleasant staff. The breakfast was good,although the evening meals were a little expensive, but with just a 10 minute walk from the barbican along the sea front theres no need to eat at hotel.

Good Points: Good value for money, great breakfast, lovely sea view, good parking facilities, comfortable and clean room.
Bad Points: Bar was a tad expensive. After having been advised by the check in staff to eat in the Lounge as there had been no bookings for a large restaraunt so would be eating on our own, found that the bar menu was very limited and that half of the menu choices were not available. Also after asking for some milk for tea making facilities in the room was told that there was no milk available in the whole hotel at 9.30 in the evening. Although we were offered black tea and coffee

However, due to the fact that the Hotel had been closed for Xmas and New Year and that our stay was on the first day of opening we felt that it hadn't quite got up and running. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely sea views in from the Restaraunt.
