Good Points: Although allocated a double room, we requested a twin room and were given this on arrival
Further Comments: We found this hotel very clean and tidy with really helpful staff

Good Points: Bright and modern with everything we needed. Breakfast is great, good choice and fresh and so leisurely to sit and read the paper.
Bad Points: Have stayed twice in express by holiday inn and both times been woken by cleaner asking when we are leaving. Although bathroom had been cleaned there were quite a lot of hairs on the floor and side of shower.
Further Comments: Good value, have stayed in a few express inns and newcastle one is particularly conveniently situated in the city centre. Nice staff and a bright and modern hotel. However, having stayed in very many hotels we miss room service for the hunger pangs late at night. Snacks would be welcome at a reasonable cost because most hotels are over charging for what you get. Drinks bit expensive too but generally a good hotel and will stay again.

Good Points: It was very clean and the service was good. There were a lot of things possible.
Bad Points: Not really a thing I did dislike actually
Further Comments: We had only one problem, finding the hotel. On the site the directions told us it was on the other side of the street of the centre of Life, they only forgot to change that direction when they build another building in front of the hotel, But luckily we found it soon. actually by accidant. But the hotel is very nice and it is nice that you can get so many things.

Good Points: breakfast all though not an english one was lovely the hotel is ideal location
Bad Points: though the cleanliness of room could of been better
Further Comments: probably would of prefered a double bed or the choice

Good Points: Bathroom and toilet facilities. Large double bed.
Bad Points: Lack of storage facilities. Would like to see storage with draws. Had nowhere to put personal items. Don't like items out in open.
Further Comments: As above. This is the first time we used a hotel where facilities were a bit inadequate. I personally don't like having my clothes on show on open shelves. Apart from that everything else was good. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful. Would come and use again but a bit reluctant with open storage.

Good Points: Very convenient for the centre of Newcastle.
Bad Points: Lifts did not work very well when using your room key to summon. Several attempts had to be made.
Further Comments: Clean comfortable and convenient for sightseeing in Newcastle. Staff have good knowlege of the area and helped in recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast was most acceptable.

Good Points: Polite and efficient reception and bar staff.Clean tidy room.Excellent to have the car parking with special night rate next to the hotel.Great location for easy walking to areas of interest.
Bad Points: It would be better if breakfasts could start maybe at 06.30am for people needing to start work early.
Further Comments: In general everything was better than expected.
