Good Points: The attitude of the staff - all extremely pleasant and helpful. There was a pleasant ambience.
Bad Points: Did not particularly like the bar area. However staff were very pleasant.
Further Comments: My husband and I were in Southampton to assist our daughter begin university. We each enjoyed our stay in your hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to others or indeed to pay a return visit.

Good Points: clean and all decor is in good order.
Bad Points: no fridge
Further Comments: my only problem is that a sunday paper was ordered and not delivered when i asked about this i was told that we was not charged but the papers were not available surely someone could have let us know,then they offered my husband the THE MAIL when reading it later it was saturdays paper and not even current news.

Good Points: Clean and tidy
Bad Points: The complexity of finding a parking facility in the vicinity of the hotel.
Further Comments: The parking at the hotel was poorly sign posted and difficult to find, it was also a NCP. The hotel room itself was starting to look a little shabby and well used and the restaurant was only adequate.

Good Points: Clean.
Bad Points: Too much traffic noise. Air conditioning wasn't switched to cold and no instructions evident in room therefore we were far too hot as the blowers blew hot air all night. Restaurant was expensive and service was very slow. Bar prices were extortionate! Room was very basic for the price.
Further Comments: I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Bad Points: Poor access to internet. I tried both wireless and wired connection but was not successful.
Further Comments: Accommodation was clean and tidy. Reception staff very helpful and professional. I would have liked to have been informed prior to my arrival about the high rates for parking. Whilst the car park was a covered place to park I did find it quite expensive. Overall a pleasent stay with a warm welcome which, after a long journey such as I had, was most appreciated.

Further Comments: Given there was a concert finishing late there was no food available when we got back (11:45) (later than planned due to transport away from Rose Bowl) so we had take away food in the bar.
