Good Points: It was located well
Bad Points: It was dated and the room smelt of dampness, general moth ball old wood odour making it unpleasant
Further Comments: The hotel is unformtunately old and is needing some re-generation in the form of decoration and improvement - the 1970's bedroom drawers were an eye opener - i thought i had gone back a few years with the paper too!

Good Points: it was pleasant and good value and the staff were very helpful

Further Comments: I thought this was perfectly reasonable accomodation, the staff were very helpful, especially as i was held up and arrived late. I would stay there again

Good Points: Not a lot
Bad Points: The fact that i booked a smoking room and when i arrived i was told they do not have any smoking rooms, having booked nearly 3 weeks in advance. All they had to do was e-mail me and i would have changed my booking. On our first night we decided to take a bar meal from the menu in our room which gave us a good choice of meals only to be told the best they could do was a sandwich.
Further Comments: That they could have provided me with a smoking room and not take my money then tell me all rooms were no smoking.

Further Comments: Overall we were very satisfied with facilities and service. Room was very clean and comfortable although the wash basin hot water seemed to have airlock problem and shower not very hot. In a central position and although near to roads the traffic was not a problem.I would certainly recommend to a friend and would return again without hesitation.

Further Comments: The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good. Only disappointment was that the hotel doesn't look as good from the outside as it did in the photo, I was expecting much larger garden and patio areas.

Good Points: very clean hotel with polite and helpful staff . Good location . Ample parking
Bad Points: Outside patio area requires nice wooden furniture with large parasols and patio heaters . Serve breakfast up to 10.30 on Sundays . Keep bottles of wine behind the bar, we wanted to share a bottle after returning for town at 10 pm but it was all locked away .
Further Comments: The hotel caters mainly for the more mature client and if you like ballroom or line dancing then this may be the place for you . dancing at this hotel seems popular with the more mature local residents , suggest you check what's on when booking. The hotel is very well located for both beach and town without any traffic noise . Our room was very clean and tidy. The hotel served a good breakfast . Compared to other hotels in the area this hotel represents very good value for money .
