Good Points: Modern, clean and hospitable.
Further Comments: I received a warm and friendly welcome that was matched with very comfortable accommodation and a superb evening meal. The short drive up drive up the country lanes unearthed a real treasure!

Good Points: Very comfortable room, excellent staff, a nice combination of accommodation and pub
Bad Points: the walk-in shower controls were tricky to fathom out
Further Comments: The New in is 5 miles from central Reading - approx a ￂﾣ10 cab journey. Allow 20 mins to get into town by car in the morning traffic.

Further Comments: The inn is one of my favourite stop overs the rooms are very comfortable and the food in the restaraunt is extrememly good - the staff are very welcoming and I would recommend this lovely inn to everyone

Further Comments: the hotel was in a fantastic secret location, food was out of this world, staff were all really helpful and friendly, and the room ( champagne suite ) was superb

Good Points: The hotel was lovely in nice grounds in a very nice village. Would stay again when I am in the area. All the staff made you feel welcome.

Good Points: Pleasant friendly staff. Good restaurant. Quiet location. Clean & comfortable room. Nice small bar.
Bad Points: A little out of the way down dark unlit single track roads but that could also be classed as an attraction !

Further Comments: This is an excellent inn. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful. The room was quite large and comfortable, with all the modern conveniences we needed. It is located in a quiet, quaint village about five or ten minutes outside of Reading. A very satisfying breakfast was served in the seventeenth-century pub. We could not have been happier.

Further Comments: This is an excellent inn. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful. The room was quite large and comfortable, with all the modern conveniences we needed. It is located in a quiet, quaint village about five or ten minutes outside of Reading. A very satisfying breakfast was served in the seventeenth-century pub. We could not have been happier.

Good Points: Accommodation was brilliant, far exceeded our expectations.42inch plasma T.V, king size bed & large wet room/shower.
Bad Points: Only fault I can think of was checking in at the bar & that was a very minor criticism in the whole overall experience.
Further Comments: Directions to hotel were spot on, even though I had my doubts, ending up in a single track road. A la carte menu wasn't what we would normally choose but that said, it was very tasty & well worth the experience. It was our silver wedding anniversary & the friendly & helpfull staff went the extra mile to make it very memorable for us. They gave us the highest spec, champaign suite, at no extra charge. It was certainly a weekend that we will remember fondly for a very long time & would thouroughly recommend it to everyone

Further Comments: our room was very contempary on the groung floor with a small courtyard with chairs very private.we had lunch in the pub garden very comfortable and breakfast was served on the patio ample and delicious
