Good Points: good location close to Heathrow Airport and the M25. Pretty setting
Further Comments: I booked two rooms on-line - one for myself and one for my daughter and her husband. Despite this and having a receipt for the two rooms only one room had been reserved. Fortunately another room was available but it left me distrustful of the booking system. This apart we had a good stay. The satff were good. The food was excellent.

Good Points: Was clean and comfortable & very good value for money. Also liked the fact it was ajoined to a nice pub / restaurant.
Bad Points: Room was unbearably hot at night.
Further Comments: Hotel was clean and comfortable & very good value for money. Also liked the fact it was ajoined to a very nice pub / restaurant where the food was enjoyable & fairly priced - the drinks on the other hand were rather expensive. All staff we met were friendly & helpful. Would not recommend Chertsey to anyone looking for lively nights out but is fine for a quiet break. Only negative thing i would say is that our room was unbearably hot at night & because of where our room was situated we could not leave the window open. Also thought breakfast should of been included in price of room but was not & was ￂﾣ7.50 extra each for a full english!!

Further Comments: We enjoyed our overnight stay in the Lodge it is in a lovely setting. The price was very reasonable for the area and the food prices were also in keeping and reasonable. We would liked to have had the opportunity to pre-book an evening meal and time as we did for breakfast. The Friday evening was very busy in the restaurant. Because of that, we were advised that there would be a very long wait for food. As we are both diabetic we decided to go across the bridge to eat in order to cut the waiting time. The breakfast was superb and I imagine so would the evening meal have been. Pity we missed it but the pub across the bridge also does superb meals and compliments the overflow. We would have liked a couple more sachets of coffee in our room.

Good Points: The position of the Lodge by the River. Clean and comfortable room.
Bad Points: The double doors opening onto the wrought iron guard. Quite scarey, with the view that a childs leg could get trapped between the wrought iron and door frame. Couldnt stop thinking about it.
Further Comments: Very pleased with the accommodation and the position of the Lodge by the River. Staff very helpful and friendly. We ate at the Restaurant adjoining and were pleasantly surprised with the food and selection. We booked this online and by doing so we got a much better rate. If we are in this area again, we would certainly return. Definately good value for the money. Good location for visiting London and surrounding areas.

Good Points: The accommodation was comfortable and reasonably priced. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable.The restaurant was lovely, with a good choice on the menu, excellent service and well priced.
Bad Points: More high chairs-none was available for my guests' baby at 12.15 on Sunday lunchtime. Larger bath towels!

Good Points: The view
Bad Points: Make doors weatherproof and draftproof.
Further Comments: The Hotel needs decorating and is tatty in places. The shower head fell off in the bath. The room was freezing cold at night and blankets were inadequate. Good value for money. I expected it because it was cheap.

Good Points: Spacious and bright with adequate facilities for the price
Bad Points: Restaurant furniture was rocky and my wife cut her hand on a nail on her chair and restaurant decor needs upgrading oom lighting a little on the bright side eg there was no small lamp which could be left on to light the way during the night.
Further Comments: WE were pleased with the hotel. It offered good value and room was clean and modern, bright and spacious and everything worked. Staff were helpful.We had dinner and it was fine except for restaurant furniture. Located on the river it should be lovely in the summer.

Good Points: Our room was in an excellent situation and overlooked the River Thames. The Restaurant (where we had breakfast)also overlooked the River and the breakfast and staff service were excellent.
Bad Points: The only complain we had was that although our window had thick curtains they did not completely mask the very bright floodlight outside the window which was on throughout the night.
Further Comments: Overall we had a very good stay, albeit only one night but would thoroughly recommend the accommodation to our relatives and friends.

Good Points: Everything worked well. We had just come from southern Spain and that was not the case.
Bad Points: The hotel was great but the costs of the taxi to the hotel was an outrage. Airport to hotel shuttle at a reasonable cost would be helpful. (55 pounds airport to hotel, 22 pounds hotel to airport)
Further Comments: My wife and I loved the hotel and the restaurant. It was everything promised and more. The window views across the water watching the water fowl was very peaceful. I will come again when I can stay longer and I am driving so I do not have to take and airport taxi.

Further Comments: i found the information on the website most accurate and useful. the hotel itself was in a great setting and the staff were freindly and the atmosphere was great. the food was excellent,the resturant was clean and the service was fast.

Good Points: Very clean nice room overlooking the river. Bathroom had a bath and shower and there was plenty of hot water. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Hotel joins on to a a pub/restaurant which served a good variety of food and reasonable prices.
Further Comments: Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Plenty of free parking.
