Good Points: Good sized rooms
Bad Points: Service in the restaraunt slow. Shower in room in a poor state.

Bad Points: one or two damaged items in room let down the apearance of the hotel e.g bath panel had a foot long crack
Further Comments: I liked this hotel. It was comfortable and staffed by friendly and helpful workers. Service was helpful and efficient. Booking was simple and information provided was helpful and informative.

Further Comments: Bedrooms were excellent; comfortable with plenty of space and bright and airy. Breakfast was excellent but the menu for the evening meal disappointing - too varied and therefore clearly pre-prepared or from frozen. A shorter and simpler (and preferably lighter, though this seems a general Scottish problem) offering would be better. Beauly is an interesting small town but we wish we had known the summer pipes & drums parade was only on Thursday - we stayed on a Wednesday.

Bad Points: Carpets a little worn and in need of replacement.
Further Comments: My stay was relaxed and rested. I would have liked to know if the non-smoking rooms were actually non-smoking rooms as ashtrays appeared in all rooms.
