Good Points: Good rooms or suites ,tastefully decorated and furnished.Excellent Restaurant and good staff.
Bad Points: Lack of consideration from other guests and poor soundproofing between floors
Further Comments: The Swan Inn turned out to be a very pleasant suprise.Set in an attractive village, from arriving to leaving the staff were very friendly ,attentive and good at their jobs ! The Inn has been thoughtfully decorated and fitted out to create a modern feel with consideration to the tradition of the building and the setting. The restaurant was excellent ,superb food with a intresting menu, the down side being that the restaurant was fully booked on arrival and we ate the same menu in the lounge bar(not a problem). The rooms were very thoughtfully fitted ,only let down by some of the workmanship ,(poor fitting doors ,incorrect fire signage )and poor sound insullation between floors . Overall though an excellent place to stay ,very tastefull ,very relaxed and a credit to the management and staff ...and the chef!!!

Good Points: Clean, comfortable, stylish.
Bad Points: Literature in hotel room could be more welcoming. No meals served in rooms is a bit brusque. Biscuits with the tea would help!
Further Comments: A comfortable and pleasant experience. Good decor.

Good Points: The decor and layout of our room. Free loan of DVDs was nice.
Bad Points: Cord on the kettle barely reached the plug. Continental breakfast was 'thin', and 'English full-cooked breakfast' was a buffet, very basic for an additional ᅡᆪ5, with no sauces etc. The toaster isn't adequate. When we were there, the smoke alarm rang a few times during our breakfast time - not good for people wanting a lie-in on a Sunday. A mini-bar in the room - being forced to either drink in a smokey bar, or order and pay for a drink at the bar to take to the room, along with a cut-off time, is poor. We also had a problem with our room key, which didn't work when we wanted to enter our room. Fortunately, the bar was still open and someone was able to open it for us. The key to the hotel rooms opens the rear door - had the bar been closed when we arrived back, it could have been a problem (although there would have been a night porter). Our 'double bed' had a distinct ridge in the middle as 2 apparent beds met - this was uncomfortable.
Further Comments: I would like to have known that the restaurant in this hotel was included in an Egon Ronay, and had a rough knowledge of the menu price-range. We were meeting friends for an evening meal and without this information, booked another restaurant - had we known this, we would have booked a table at the hotel.

Good Points: Very well equipped, modern room with style and high quality fixtures.
Bad Points: Standard breakfast was limited and shouldn't really be classified as continental
Further Comments: Lovely setting in pretty village, good parking and a refreshing change from many chain hotels. Helpful staff and high quality bar and restaurant food. Room well cleaned and prepared every day.

Good Points: Location, staff, room appearance, price, and overall value
Bad Points: honestly can't think of anything!
Further Comments: Magnificent little place in the countryside. Staff was incredibly helpful. Overall value was amazing versus other hotels in the area. I had business in Woking but it would have been well worth the drive even if I was working in London the whole time. If you're looking for that quaint Inn in the small town in the countryside feel with modern amenities, THIS IS IT! You absolutely will not be disappointed. If at all possible, I will stay here on my next visit to London or southeastern England.

Good Points: The inside and back garden of hotel were in very good order. Both in design and cleanliness. This gave us confidence as to quality of hotel
Bad Points: The fron of hotel is not the most welcoming, also situated so close to main road.In passing and looking for accommodation would have been unlikely to stop and enquire.
Further Comments: Would stay again now that I know of standard and quality of hotel.Food was also first class offered in pleasant surroundings. On arrival sat in car park the front of hotel did not look welcoming. The hotel sat so close to main road did not exude quality found on inside. If we had been passing and looking for accommodation, based on external appearance would not have enquired as to vacancies. Need to make the outside of hotel more warming and welcoming by replicating quality of inside to outside

Good Points: Comfortable rooms, excellent food, good beer, friendly staff, first class value for money
Bad Points: The only minor issue is that the TV in the room, state of the art though it was, had a terrible picture!
