Good Points: With AA discount very good value for money.
Bad Points: Minor problems in bathroom. Water taps could do with a service.
Further Comments: Comfortable bedroom if a little worn. Good parking and friendly young staff. Location down a long road with many speed bumps. Good value at discounted price.

Further Comments: excellent hotel with good staff,ideal base for travelling and discovering the coves and harbours in this part of cornwall.

Bad Points: Swimming Pool was not an indoor pool, but a covered outdoor pool and was somewhat shabby.

Good Points: Good setting,plenty of free car parking,good standard of decor.
Bad Points: Noise insulation poor between rooms.
Further Comments: The hotel is approached by roads that have many speed humps.Good comfatable hotel with pleasant staff.Evening meals a bit pricey.

Good Points: Clean rooms and friendly staff who were very happy to help. Very beautiful area to stay in and very quiet, but close to local amenities.
Bad Points: evening menue was not very large and had little local produce

Good Points: The service was always good. Friendly people.
Bad Points: The dinner meal was limited and not what we expected. We ended up going to a grocery store, buying our dinner there, and then eating it in our hotel room.
Further Comments: Other than visiting nearby Charlestown, St. Austell has nothing to see. Once the beach area gets revamped that will be a nice spot for anyone on holiday during the summer months.

Good Points: It was located in a very scenic position, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was centrally located to many other well known areas in Cornwall and easy to find. Food was very good
Further Comments: It was a very pleasant experience and would certainly stay there again. The bedrooms were very light and airy and was surprised to have an excellent sea view. Food was excellent and the general cleanliness of the Hotel eas faultless.

Good Points: The hotel has a very friendly feel about it. The staff are lovely, helpful and polite. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to anyone that wanted to stay in that area of Cornwall.
Further Comments: The hotel is situated in a lovely area, it's quiet with lovely sea views. This was my second stay at the hotel and if I were to visit Cornwall again next year would hope that I would able to get accommodation at The Cliff Head

Good Points: Room was pleasant with a nice view and good clean bathroom.
Bad Points: In door pool (reason for booking) was out of order. No notice on web page to let us know this was the case.
Further Comments: Reception staff not particularly welcoming. Handed us the key that was it. No info about meal time etc. or even directions to the room. Big let down for the hotel in general! It would be a good idea for them to let guests know in advance that the pool is no longer in working order. The room we stayed in was lovely with a good view. Everything was clean and neat and in working order.

Good Points: Friendly, relaxed, nice atmosphere.
Bad Points: Nothing.
Further Comments: Enjoyed our stay, would definitely consider if visitng the area again. Conveniently situated for exploring the area, especially for visiting the Eden project. Lovely garden. Too far to walk into St. Austell easily, and not very easy to take car.

Bad Points: The TV programs were very limited.An indoor TV aerial in a hotel room is just NOT ON.
Further Comments: The location is really marvelous,and the view stunning.Good dinning facilities, and a great bar.

Further Comments: the hotel was not as close to the sea as i imagined. also room decor seemed old an tired. however the hotel was clean, the staff polite and helpful, and the dinner was excellent.

Good Points: Room large and bright. liked the idea of the fire for extra warmth and made it very cosy.
Bad Points: Lights didn`t work so could not relax in the siting area, and for my partner he was disappointed with the TV
Further Comments: Hotel easy to find, staff very friendly, all areas vey clean and pleasant to use. Overall very good and we would stay again.
