| Good Points: close to event at Hampden |
| Bad Points: Hotel going through refurbishment and lack of facilities |
| Further Comments: Overall would be hard to say that the hotel was good but this might be unfair as they did state they were going through a major refurb. The rooms should be nice when this is achieved as they are spacious and our room overlookde the Queens Park.
Our abiding memory of this hotel was the manager who went out of her way to ensure that our complaint regarding the mix up at breakfast and lack of tables was resolved to our satisfaction. She saved the day and we may well visit the hotel in the future should we have a similar event at Hampden. Although we would not recommend the hotel at this stage hopefully the refurb. and the hard work of the manager will pull the hotel up in standard. |

There's not much of a bar but there are pubs and restaurants nearby.

The whole place was a bit frayed round the edges and the room needed a better clean (dust round edges of carpets, cobwebs on furniture). The bathroom was overrdue for a revamp. |
