Good Points: Fantastic host, who was very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. Made a particular effort with my birthday, with card & choc etc. Fantastic Breakfast too.....
Bad Points: Shower and pressure and control of temperature

Good Points: Landlady very friendly and accommodating taking trouble to recommend restaurants and also book a table for us, room nicely fitted out and decorated, good view, nice products in bathroom
Bad Points: Tea and coffee making facilites provided in room but very basic and water not replenished

Good Points: Super nice and friendly athmosfere. Very nice, younger couple running the B&B. Excellent breakfast and in general very positive and personal service, e.g. tips on restaurants and booking of dinner table in Ilfracombe, print of surf wave report... Nicely decorated rooms.

Good Points: Friendliness of hosts & Bovril the dog. The breakfast choices were very good & the room was clean & comfortable, especially the size of the bed!
Bad Points: The radiator in the room didn't work, so had to have a heater on.

Good Points: Lovely contemporary decor, attention to detail, great retro feel to breakfast room, loved the honesty bar, and cosy sitting room, with music and fire.
Further Comments: Very friendly and helpful owners, the best breakfast with lots of choice and locally sourced ingredients, lovely views over Ilfracombe and the owners were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the area.

Good Points: The team who run the hotel are very friendly and make you feel very at home.
Bad Points: My only niggle would be the Bathroom which could be bigger, feels a bit cramped.
Further Comments: Hotel is on a hill looking over Ilfracombe to the Countryside and the Sea making for some lovely views in the Morning and Evenings. Rooms are spacious, ours had a separate study area that worked well as it gave you somewhere away from the bedroom. As mentioned the bathroom is a bit small and only has a shower, though a bath is available. They do a good breakfast with plenty of choice. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend.

Good Points: Very friendy and imformative lady. Loved the contemporary decor..very stylish. The lounge area and 'honesty bar' was a nice touch.
Bad Points: The bed was uncomfortable..felt every spring. Small basic room. It was perhaps more of a family place as we were next door to a family..an early wake up call most mornings.Bed was uncomfortable
Further Comments: We enjoyed our stay of 4 nights at the hotel/BB. It was a big house and noise seemed to travel. The room was OK but not very big and bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast was generous and lovely.

Bad Points: Bathroom was very small and very dated. Access to off street parking was very difficult to negotiate
Further Comments: We only stayed at the hotel for one night. We did not use the hotels catering facilities at all as we dined out (both dinner and breakfast). I spent much of my time once awake in the morning wondering how I would remove my car from the carpark without damaging it!! Staff were very friendly.

Good Points: Very friendly and approachable owners. Great room.
Further Comments: The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Gave advice on the area and recommended a good restaurant. The room was clean, modern and airy. The breakfasts were very tasty, food sourced from local suppliers. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
