Good Points: The staff were very friendly and the room clean and very comfortable, after ...... (see below)
Bad Points: the heating did not work in my room and it took quite some time to sort it out. Prior to it being fixed, I was offered an extra sheet to keep warm!!!
Further Comments: The pricing was a little unclear and it seemed to imply that complimentary breakfast items were available. Breakfast was not included and the complimentary items were tea/coffee and biscuits, no fresh fruit as suggested. These were not available in the room either, although the tea/coffee making area was on the same floor as my room. I ate in the restuarant for lunch and the service and food were excellent. The location was also very good.

Good Points: Quirkyness of the decor in the room
Further Comments: Nothing really, we were familiar with manchester and the area and had visited the hotel before with friends, thats why we chose. We had a fabulous night and got far too drunk, thanks to the varied bar menu!!

Good Points: Good location, friendly staff - lovely comfy bed.
Bad Points: Felt that the room was a lacking that comfort feel. Achieved a modern feel in an old building but didn't quite hit the nail in the head with regards to comfort.
Further Comments: I had been looking for something old and comfortable to treat my partner for his birthday - I was aware that the hotel had a modern decor but felt that although provisions were more than adequate it didn't have that cosy, comfy feel that I would have preferred after returning from a night out. However the bed was huge and very comfortable so no complaints there and the staff were very helpful & friendly.

Bad Points: The bath leaked, pouring water into the room below. Cleanliness of reception area was poor on arrival.

Bad Points: There was a cigarette stub on our room floor in a non smoking room. Unfortunately it set the tone.
Further Comments: Not great value for money, quite basic for the price paid. Will find it hard to continue charging those rates as competion is growing in Manchester.

Good Points: THe hotel was tastefully decorated and had some nice touches - I liked the books in the room, the radio, magnetic calender, the lounge area and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Bad Points: My only gripe was the cost of a sandwich and a cup of eta which I thought was rather steep however, that said, it was generously filled and well presented.
Further Comments: The hotel is centrally located, welcoming and the dining room and bar area small enough to feel like a boutique hotel. The room I stayed in was generously proportioned and had some quirky features which gave it a personal individual feel, The bed was comfortable and the additional features such as quality toiletries and bath robes, a radio, tv with DVD player and lounge area with desk gave it a classy feel which was impressive given the reasonable price. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Good Points: The staff were friendly and helpful. The overall decor/look of the hotel was stylised but casual and warm.
Bad Points: There was only one small lift which might have been a problem if the hotel had been busier but was absolutely fine.
Further Comments: Overall I was very happy with the hotel.

Further Comments: I would not stay in this hotel again - it was just too hot and too noisy and dusty, and I did not feel it was remotely good value for money.

Good Points: how clean the room was
Bad Points: very warm with the pipes been in our bedroom 302 also the mirror on the table was in very poor condition not fitting of the rest of the room
Further Comments: we liked the hotel but would of liked a night cap when we got back in to the hotel that night and didnt feel like we could as everything was shut up, apart from that it was very enjoyable stay.
