Good Points: The room was small but comfortable with a four poster bed, plenty storage and good tv facilities. The room had a small kitchenette behind cupboard doors which was ideal but the room was not big enough to accommodate this. The bathroom was a good size with a lovely spa bath, and nice lighting in the ceiling.
Bad Points: Nothing in particular as the price we paid was excellent but I dont think it deserves the four star rating.
Further Comments: Every thing that was stated on the Internet site when I booked this accomadation was pretty accurate as I also read the reviews.

Good Points: The diningroom/restaurant was comfortable and clean and the food was of a good standard with a wide choice of breakfast. The staff were very helpful, attentive and pleasant. The room was quite comfortable and warm.
Bad Points: The room was a little cramped with shortage of hanging space. There was also evidence of damp and condensation around the secondary glazed windows.
Further Comments: Despite the negative points mentioned above, we were happy overall with our stay and would book this hotel again.

Good Points: The friendly staff
Further Comments: On arrival to departure we found the staff to be efficient and very helpful.The room was comfortable and not cramped.The hotel was also situated close to all the main shopping areas.

Good Points: The very large bed and the staff were very nice. The breakfst was very good.
Bad Points: The only thing I could fault was the pillow as I found it very hard

Good Points: Central location and parking facilities. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Bad Points: Room was a bit cramped. Shower room very small and lighting not very good. The fancy lights in the shower room were very nice but the main light wasn't strong enough. The cupboard in the room was a kitchen good idea but room too small for something like that. This cupboard needs to be removed and the shower room made bigger.

Further Comments: rooms listed as ensuite but the bathrooms were too small.The only way to sit on the toilet in one room was sideways .There was work going on all day at the hotel.Having travelled we had hoped for a rest before going out but it was impossible.One reason we chose the hotel was it offered meals but there was a private function in the resaurant & meals were not available.

Bad Points: The room was badly positioned, doors slammed and we were disturbed by general noise sand the noise of the plumbing kept my wife and I awake through both nights of our stay. I complained on two seperate days, but to no avail.
Further Comments: The hotel, although supposedly refurbished, left a lot to be desired. We were in a room where we were constantly disturbed by doors banging, noise from people walking in the room overhead and the plumbing was so noisy we were disturbed every time someone ran a tap or flushed a toilet. Although the food was very good, we did not enjoy our stay due to our sleep being constantly disturbed. We would not stay in this hotel again and as my wife and I are both disabled and it is essential for us to have a good nights sleep, I intend to write a letter of complaint to the hotel's owners/management.
