Good Points: It was pleasantly presented with all the adequate facilities and more. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable with little added extras ie. drinking water, sewing kit, liquid soap, shower gel etc It had TV, DVD player freeview and coffee and tea facilities. The breakfast was also very good with a great choice well cooked and presented.
Bad Points: The only complaint would be that there was not adequate hanging facilities for clothes if you had been staying any length of time. It was sufficient for us as we were only there one night but there was only an open hanging rail which meant clothes were on show. There was however a large cupboard which would have made an ideal wardrobe but housed a self sufficient kitchen? One more point I would make is that the windows were covered in condensation and although we had a sea view it could not be fully appreciated because of this. We were unable to open the window to clear it as they had secondary double glazing and could not be opened. This may not be a problem in the summer months but it is a big problem in cold weather.
Further Comments: Overall we enjoyed the comfortable surroundings and friendly atmosphere of the hotel for the short time we were there. We would not hesitate to go back again as it met all our requirements.

Good Points: The warm friendly welcome, the young lady Receptionist had an excellent attitude. The sincere attention to guest needs, interest in guests conversation. Comfortable bed, room decor, our room was equiped with a fold away kitchen, a great innovation. Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings. View from bedroom. We will definitely be back sometime.
Bad Points: The badly fitting secondary unit double glazing in room 6, there were strong winds during Monday night and we were disturbed once or twice by its 'rattling' Poor state and cleanliness of all towels. Badly sited toilet. Dining room closed Monday evening.

Good Points: The central location, the restaurant and the unusual hidden kitchen in the room.
Bad Points: The bar shut at 12 o'cock and the bedroom & bathroom were a bit to crampt.

Good Points: Overall, the hotel was adequate but for a hotel that was recently refurbished, some of the fittings and decor looked a bit dated.
Bad Points: The bathroom was showing signs of mould in the shower area.

Good Points: The accomodation is in a perfect location it is situated on the promenade opposite the entrance of Southport Pier. Staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The accomodation has all the available facilities needed if this does not happen just ask at reception and they are more than happy to help you.
Bad Points: The food was average but the selection was really good
Further Comments: Good well run family hotel. 10 minute walk to train station and town centre. 5 minute walk to nearest supermarket. Numerous bars, restaurants and cafes along Lord Street one of the main shopping streets.

Good Points: the hotel was excellent.the food was first class and the room all we could want.
Further Comments: we would recommend this hotel to anyone.it is in the ideal position for the shops and for walks along the coast.a perfect spot for anyone who loves birdwatching.

Bad Points: Albeit room was large felt bit like a bed-sit due to kithchen facility
Further Comments: We were told when we rang to confirm booking that we could only have Xmas menu which later we were told that was wrong we would have preferred to have eaten in the hotel. Bathroom too small layout inconvenient toilet and hand basin far too close. Faulty plug on T.V aerial so poor picture. Breakfast - room very cold not made to feel welcome at all.

Further Comments: Was pleased to find the hotel central, staff very pleasent and helpful. Breakfast was very good, well satisfied.

Good Points: The touch of the starlights in the bathroom. The restaurant and food was fabulous. The bed was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.
Bad Points: The kitchenette was unnecessary and took up space in the room which could be utilised to make the bathroom slightly bigger. The bathroom was very small. The decor was dated and the room was dusty in certain places considering this was classed as a deluxe room!!

Good Points: Great restaurant, lovely breakfast, wery helpful staff.
Bad Points: The shower tray did not drain out but filled up with water. No privacy blind in the bathroom just a net curtain, glass not opaque. Decor in the rooms a bit dated, although I cannot complain about the price very reasonable.

Good Points: the hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and professional, the restaraunt was excellent and very surprising.
Further Comments: we were only there for one day but would definitely use this hotel again.
