Good Points: Closeness to amenities
Bad Points: Very very noisy, didn't sleep until after four am, would benefit from double glazed windows, pillows were very hard and uncomfortable

Good Points: It was in the heart of cardiff very close to everthing
Bad Points: Although the standard of clenliness was acceptable the decorative state of the room could do with being updated.
Further Comments: i was very happy. found the staff fantasic and the breckfast was great! A few to many steps mind! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was however unhappy to arrive back to my room on the second day of my stay to find cleaing staff in the room. I would have rather they had not cleaned the room untill i had checked out.

Good Points: Friendly staff - welcoming, attentive, could not do enough for you
Bad Points: Hot water did not work when we first got to hotel, this was quicky resolved though
Further Comments: If you want somewhere friendly in the centre of town and cheap, look no further. It's not modern and the cleaner's could do with some training but it's fine to get your head down in and reception / breakfast staff are fabulous!

Bad Points: stairs and the room could have been cleaner
Further Comments: I thought the staff where very helpfull and polite, location excellant. Slightly dissappointed in the room(cleanliness), I believe more emphasis should be made reference the steepness of the stairs in the lodge.

Bad Points: the noise from the building next door, we think it was an air conditioning unit which hummed until about 2am and started up early the next morning. The window would not open. Would suggest it should be double glazed.
Further Comments: The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were pleased to be contacted by phone the day before our stay to confirm our hotel booking. The breakfast was obviously pre-cooked and consequently greasy. We both asked not have to beans included in the meal but this was totally ignored.

Bad Points: no lift ; little cabinet that couldn't fit any coat
Further Comments: It would be nice to know the room was on 4/F with no lift beforehand. Also, the check-in/out counter was situated on opposite side of the road.

Good Points: The accomodation was right in the centre of town so perfect for seeing Cardiff, yet at the same time it was quiet and restful.
Bad Points: Finding the accomodation.

Further Comments: trￃﾨs grande chambre, claire, rien ￃﾠ redire pour 1 prix attractif. systￃﾨme bizarre nￃﾩanmoins d'avoir l'enregistrement et le petit dￃﾩjeuner de l'autre cￃﾴtￃﾩ de la rue mais globalement pas vraiment pￃﾩnalisant.
