Further Comments: we were made to feel very welcome by everyone. We had dinner and breakfast both were very good.

Good Points: Clean, well-maintained and had some nice features.
Bad Points: This is a grade 2 listed building and the toiled includes a macerator - very noisy. There's nothing that they can do about this.
Further Comments: Very welcoming and VERY efficient staff. The food was excellent and you should eat in the restaurant if you stay (often I go elsewhere). Nice local beer (Bath Brewery from Warmley) - wines were good too. Room was not the largest but more than adequate. It was clean and everything worked. This seems to be a hotel that understands that customers want 'clean', working and good service. Quelle Surprise! There could have been a better range of toiletries but now I'm being really picky.

Good Points: it is a beautiful building, with lots of character and history.
Further Comments: the customer service was amazing, for check in, check out, and when we had breakfast. super friendly and helpful. we really enjoyed our stay and felt relaxed and welcome.

Good Points: The thought that went into the room was very good, as was the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff.
Bad Points: The bathroom was sub standard compared to the rest of the hotel
Further Comments: Overall a good experience with attentantive staff who know how to impress. The reception, pre-dinner drink and food boarded on excellent. The room was at the front and at this time of year the traffic noise could be excluded. However, without a portable A/C unit the traffic noise could become difficult in the height of summer. Unfortunately the 'fire alarm' was 'activated' for some considerable time the night that I stayed. Overall a very good value for money hotel.

Further Comments: A nice hotel with lots of character. Friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome. The room was nice and clean and recently refurbished.

Further Comments: I found the hotel an amazing place place to stay either for buisiness or leisure.The staff were excellent with service and friendliness,very helpful.Woul highly recommend the hotel.

Good Points: very quaint, clean. more than adequate. good food, especially breakfast. lovely staff. No children allowed. nice bar
Bad Points: sloping floors, noisy macerater on toilet system.
Further Comments: beautiful well preserved ancient building. very helpful staff. good food, albeit a bit pricey. Hotel is well positioned being central between Bath and Bristol.

Further Comments: Sehr sauberes und ordentliches Hotel mit extrem freundlichem Personal und sehr guter Kￃﾼche. Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr klein, von der Einrichtung her nur mￃﾤￃﾟig mit einem sehr kleinen Sanitￃﾤrbereich. Zudem gehen alle neun Zmmer zur stark frequentierten Straￃﾟe raus.

Good Points: Excellent food
Bad Points: Staff were slow to bring menus and keep us informed of delays to our food.
Further Comments: Check in staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. There was a large function going on in the evening which I think affected the level of service in the bar and restaurant.

Bad Points: Room was very small and nearly all the area taken up by the bed
Further Comments: Although we had a very small and really inadequate room apart from the bed,we believe they must have many better ones,which would then make this place a good one for an overnight stay but not for a longer period.

Further Comments: I picked the hotel because of its history and was not disappointed.I thought the staff were informative and helpful.I found the macerating toilets annoying and the shower too difficult to get into.
