Good Points: Very convenient for City Centre. Room was adequate and the staff were very friendly. Breakfasts were excellent and good value for money.
Bad Points: Room was lacking some dusting and some maintenance was required.
Further Comments: Parking was potentially a problem. There appear to be only 7 spaces but there are 14 rooms. Our instructions were to arrive after 4.00 pm but on arriving at 4.30 pm on a Saturday, we were advised that all spaces had been taken as some guests had arrived much earlier. However, the Manager was very helpful in advising where we could park until Monday morning. Obviously this is a problem when the Hotel is full and as there are some restrictions on other roads locally, this perhaps should be advised to guests. The Hotel is adequate and does have a small lounge with bar and TV which we used on our first night and the Manager was very attentive and had a good chat to us. All in all, for the money, it is an OK Hotel.

Further Comments: Enjoyed my stay at Blossoms. I had a great time and the hotel only added to our experience at York. Will definitely be back again as we ran out of time to see all we wanted to.

Good Points: The hotel was spot-less and the staff more than helpful. We were up-graded to the larger family room at no extra cost, and this was something we really appreciated
Bad Points: Only down-side was getting in and out of the car park. The info says first-come first-served, and this really is the case...Get there early!!!
Further Comments: Nothing really to fault about this hotel..The breakfasts were real good value for money and everything was so clean, that it really was noticeable. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much bother for them. We stayed in the larger family room, which was big enough for 2 adults & 1 child, although you wouldn't feel cramped with an extra body in there. My only negative would be that the directions for finding the hotel were vague to say the least. It comes down to luck rather than good judgement.

Good Points: The bed was excellent, The open windows refreshing, friendly staff, easy access to the city all made our stay a pleasurable.
Bad Points: Broken light above the bed and remote control was temperamental.
Further Comments: Blossoms was a great venue for our one night in York. The friendly staff and location to the city as well as the price make it an excellent location for the business and leisure traveller.

Further Comments: Narrow entrance to car park caused me some problem. Otherwise all ok.

Good Points: It was clean, service was good, the room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful, they were also extremely polite.
Further Comments: The hotel was in a very good position for the sights of York, but just far enough away to give the privacy we required. It was a peacefuland enjoyable stay in york. If we needed any help with imformation etc. the staff were willing to help. If I have to find a critiscism it would be that it did not do evening meals. Other than that I can only say thank you to the staff for making it such a pleasant stay.

Further Comments: Good location - only a few minutes walk from the centre of the city. And good breakfasts - cooked to order. Very convenient to have free internet access to check weather, train times, event details or whatever before setting out for the day. Shower/toilet cubicle in budget double room IS rather cramped - but that's what it says on the tin, so can't complain. If you're staying for more than a couple of days, have lots of clotes to hang up, or just like space to move about in, then go for the larger room!

Good Points: The pleasant staff.Helpful and friendly.
Bad Points: Distance to the centre.
Further Comments: The hotel had lots of stairs and this was hard going carrying our suitcases upstairs.We also would have liked to be nearer the shops and the centre.
