Bad Points: the condition of the room was below standard and with a leaking sink. and both bedside lights not working, the quily not fitting the quilt cover, very low standard room
Further Comments: My stay here was not a very good and with the room standard i will not stay here again or recommend it to anyone

Good Points: The comfortable beds and crisp white sheets.
Bad Points: The hard floors and lack of storage in the bedrooms, the basin in the bathroom and the run down and tatty public areas.
Further Comments: The hotel is convenient for where i wanted to be and booking through the internet i got an extremely good deal. However i would never pay the full rate as the hotel does not come up to the expectations of that level of price.

Good Points: Lovely comfortable bed and bedding, nice modern bathroom. Very friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast.
Bad Points: The carpet throughout had seen better days and the lift was a bit shabby.
Further Comments: Generally a good, clean hotel. I enjoyed my stay there. The staff are very helpful, but I'm afraid I was not impressed by the art both in the room and around the hotel.

Bad Points: Spartan look of bedroom. Noise from courtyard very late into night.Double glazing would have elliminated some of this noise. Noise from above rooms would also have been less if rooms were carpeted. Bathroom and corridors extremely shabby.

Bad Points: The hotel was generally shabby and furnishings were worn out and old. The whole hotel needed a good refresh, certainly the carpets and paintwork.
Further Comments: The hotel on the whole suited our needs for an overnight stay, but if you want a special overnight stay then this is probably not the place for you. This due mainly to the shabbiness of the decor, which was very tired and old. The night staff were very helpful and were not concerned at letting us in at 2am and giving us complementry peanuts at this hour. Not sure if we would stay there again, the 'art work' looked out of place in our room and was obviously done on a low budget.

Good Points: Unusual art work. Fantastic comfy bed.
Bad Points: Art gallery was being upgrade so no art work on stairway. Felt the corridors need a little upgrading to match the rooms.

Further Comments: How building control allowed you to set TV's into the wall is beyond me. It just means that most of the sound is transmitted through the wall to the room next door and, as I experienced, if you have some selfish *!*!* next door who has the TV on all night it leads to a sleepless night.

Further Comments: on the whole was happy with the room that we had,however this was the second room we were given as the first was none smoking and we asked for smoking, very small,and the t.v did not work.But the staff were very quick to put things right and it was done without any fuss.

Good Points: The hotel has understated decor and the rooms each have a painted frieze by a different artist. Quirky! The deep green glass bowl and shelf in the (huge) bathroom were the most beautiful I have ever seen. Also appreciated having mugs instead of cups and saucers. I will definitely recommend and hope to return to experience another room. Fab location near Ocean Village and IW ferry terminal, and shopping centre.

Further Comments: Breakfast was poor quality - despite hyped menu Much is made of the art work in the hotel personally when I want art I'll go to a gallery, when I want a good hotel I'll go somewhere else.
