Good Points: Good location, friendly helpful staff, good atmosphere in the public areas, very quiet rooms (even ours which was next to the lift- didnt hear a thing!) which were clean,and of a good standard. Excellent choice at breakfast
Bad Points: It was very busy so a bit of waiting for staff to get to you- however they did not come across as harrassed at all. A bit pricey for the room overall. Beds a little soft to get in and out of (this was a bit of a problem due to back problem (Sciatica)) however very comfortable once in!

Good Points: The hotel room was very comfortable and the staff efficient.
Bad Points: The breakfast area is rather small for the number of guests utilising this area.
Further Comments: We chose this hotel for the 2nd year running as its situation, close to Cardiff, is ideal for our needs. However, it would be even better if there were food facilities within the hotel to cater for guests returning later in the evening. Although we were able to have a drink in the hotel lobby the air conditioning was on full blast and made it rather chilly.

Good Points: The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well equiped, although no restaurant the ajacent pub/restaurant was more than adequate. Location just off the motorway was ideal. Rooms were all clean and comfortable, and quiet !!
Further Comments: Excellent value for money. Great staff made us very welcome.

Good Points: Clean and fresh, immediatly obvious that the place is well looked after.
Bad Points: Breakfast could have been a little more substantial. I like continental breakfast, but there was a distinct lack of meats and cheeses.
Further Comments: The hotel was well placed to Cardiff which was the destination of the event we were attending. We used the local bus route-1/3 of the price of taxi's and train, this was very efficient and the driver ensured we knew exactly were we had to go once off the bus and where the best places to visit were. The hotel staff had produced a time table for the buses. I had no complaints. The pub next door (100m) sold excellant food and was an enjoyable venue for the evening.

Bad Points: Only 1 pillow each. Only 3 sachets of coffee, & surprise that I requested more.
Further Comments: I thought the room was v. good, but the tray was poor. Also I was not impressed with the breakfast. I have paid half the price at other hotels & had twice the value.
