Good Points: clean but very tired
Bad Points: it was well decorated but was let down by old and tired furniture and the fact that certain items did not work ;towel rail
Further Comments: I found the public areas and the entertainment good just the tiredness of the rest let it down it would be a good buisness move to have more top of the range rooms avalible.

Good Points: The beautiful sea view from our balcony. The food was good. It was really good value for money. Already booked to come again
Bad Points: Didn't dislike anything at all about the accommodation but a hotel this size should provide car parking for guests.
Further Comments: A great value weekend away with great food, included in price. A great view and a lovely warm room. Close to all Llandudno has to offer. Only downfall is lack of parking facilities

Good Points: entertainment was more than excellent. Room was very good. overall a most enjoyable stay apart from the food!!
Bad Points: The meals were well below acceptable and would put me off staying again

Good Points: hotel good. staff excellent.
Bad Points: i have eaten in staff canteens for over 40 years and your dinning room felt just the same. will say though the food was good. also we had to carry our cup the full lengh of canteen to get a cup of tea not much tea left on return to table
Further Comments: when we booked it said nothing about self service or the up grade.as i have to rely on a stick i found it dificult to carry 21 snooker balls plus 2 cues and a rest from the reception down to the basement.

Good Points: The bathroom was very clean
Bad Points: The decor was tired. The pillows smelled. The kettle was very poor
Further Comments: The Dining room was appalling. It was overcrowded. All meals were self-service and, with the majority of guests being elderly, walking around with hot food was a scary experience. (Mind you none of the food was very hot). The food itself was bland to bad. Interesting idea to present a Forida Cocktail as a starter and then offer it for pudding with cream as fruit salad. This was old school dinners. I also gto shouted at ( I thik this is her volume for the elderly) for sitting in the wrong place for breakfast (apparently the uncrowded section is for special guests). At tyhe price I paid, I felt I should be a special guest and in any case, public humiliation should not be for any guest.

Good Points: The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean but basic
Bad Points: The hotel is being refurbished and we were in the older part of the hotel but I am sure when the job is completed the rooms will be lovely
Further Comments: We had a very enjoyable weekend at the grand. The entertainment was good and varied with a choice of three bars. The only downside was having to wait to be seated for meals, there didnt seem to be enough staff to clear tables quickly enough, but once seated the food was good.
