Good Points: very good, clean and comfortable hotel. food was faultless, staff were very polite and helpfull.
Bad Points: only downfull, there isnt a lounge area, where you can meet up with your other guests/party members. although the staff make it quite clear that you are welcome to sit in the dining area and wait.
Further Comments: ideal place to stay, 5 local pubs nearby, 1 is next door. plenty of local eateries from chippies to thai resturants. parking is a bit of a shortfull. marks out of ten, i would give a nine. i was travelling with a party of ten and no-one had any moans. overall an excelant place to stay.

Good Points: loved the room, spacious and airy
Further Comments: Lovely room, hotel staff very welcoming. Breakfast and dinner excellent and real value for money. will be back!

Good Points: Very good value for money and quite comfortable.
Bad Points: Only little petty things such as the kettle lead did not reach the socket and had to place it on the floor which could be a safety hazard. Also, no glass or plastic cup on the wash basin.
Further Comments: The hotel was clean, smart and offers good food. I would like to see a seating area just for the bar with a couple of cozy couches. Had the weather been nice then most likely could have sat outside. But on the whole. the price reflected a good deal.

Bad Points: Lack of reception staff and parking.
Further Comments: The cheap price of a night's stay at the hotel was reflected in the cleanliness of the room. The lack of parking was deplorable, I did not enjoy carrying two cases and a handbag the length of the road to reach the front door.

Good Points: Room had a nice view and bed was very confortable. Hotel is situated in the town centre where there are lots of other places to eat.
Bad Points: The hot water took forever to come through, you just need to be prepared for this. And restaurant lacked the cosie feel the rooms have.
Further Comments: A very delightful old English style hotel. Room had a very romantic feel to it Very good value for money. We had a room on the top floor, a little bit of a treck but worth it, we have already booked for another stay in the same room.

Bad Points: inadequate shower facilities and very creaky floor boards
Further Comments: This questionnaire does not allow me not to respond to the question would I recomend this hotel. The answer is maybe - I would not recommend it to American visitors who have certain expectations -but for a comfortable stay in a quiet English town close to a fine English city it's fine at the right price.

Good Points: The room was well laid out and had everything that I needed
Bad Points: The room was not as clean as I would have expected. As an ex hotellier I would not have been happy to accept that standard.
Further Comments: A good overnight stop at an excellent price. I turned up at the very last moment for service in the cafe but that was no problem. Rooms were not as clean as i would expect,

Good Points: The room was superb. No complaints at all
Bad Points: No shower curtain. No problem with the bath but even though it was a hand held shower there should have been a shower rail and curtain to allow the option of having a shower whilst standing in the bath
Further Comments: When we arrived the night porter could not find our room. We knew it was Room 1 and it was outside the main hotel but even though he tried a few doors he couldn't find it. We eventually found it ourselves...........but he was very helpful and apologetic!

Bad Points: prehaps a stand up shower might have been nice, but i had a bath instead
Further Comments: Would have liked to know that some of the accommodation is in seperate cottages, which wasn't a problem in fact we prefered it that way

Good Points: The accommodation location, retaining original features. Setting.
Bad Points: The receptionist who checked us in could have shown us to our room or at least indicated which direction the room was in. Maybe she had just started in the job and not familiar with what guests may require. Her colleague , however, was very helpful and escorted us to the room as it was in the side annexe. The information in the room was useful.
Further Comments: Room very comfortable. Setting , location, very good. Ambiance good. Could have done with a proper shower in bathroom. Overall very good value for money. Would consider staying again. Have recommended to friends living in Norwich and friends where I live. Great location for exploring the area.
