Good Points: Good size room and bathroom. Excellent location for central Watford.
Bad Points: Would prefer proper shower controls rather than bathtaps.
Further Comments: Very pleasant and obliging staff both at reception and in the restaurant. Reasonable hotel parking area. Bright and inviting foyer and bar area. Spacious executive bedroom and a tasty breakfast. The hotel's location is excellent for the shops.

Good Points: It was close to the town centre, it was clean and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
Bad Points: I would have liked air con simply because we could not leave our window open at night due to street noise
Further Comments: The hotel was extremely reasonable and of a high standard. Apart from not having air con, I can find no fault with the amenities or the staff. I would stay here again

Good Points: Lots of equipment in my room: I appreciated the iron and the roominess of the bathroom. The staff were very polite too.
Bad Points: The smell in the corridors was extremely strong and made me feel quite nausious and claustrophobic. It also got very hot at night.
Further Comments: The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The resturant staff were particularly attentive. There was a relaxed atmosphere at the hotel and the rooms were very clean. I was pleasently surprised by the size of the room/en-suite and appreciated all the facilities available to me; from the tea and biscuits to the use of the iron. Generally a good hotel for a reasonable price.

Further Comments: A fair way from the station, a ￂﾣ4 taxi or a 15 min walk. We arrive before 12 and were able to check-in which was great and receptionist was very helpful with directions to somewhere we wanted to visit, even making a couple of phone calls for us. The room was clean and pleasant but size was disappointing as an executive room had been booked and this seemed very standard and towels were a little small and thin. The windows could be opened, otherwise it would have been very hot, but a little road noise was heard. We looked at the dinner menu and were impressed, but then ended up eating elsewhere. Breakfast was served efficiently and, although I have had larger, was very tasty. Check-out quick and easy. We would return if in the area again.

Good Points: Location ideal for Wembley - good breakfast - friendly staff - good room
Bad Points: A birthday party who booked a function room were allowed to spill into the main bar (especially their toddlers)- forcing several residents to have to flee back to their room instead of enjoying a quiet drink. This would prevent me staying there next time.
Further Comments: Are they holding a wedding/birthday event that night!!

Bad Points: Room was very hot withou the heating on and therefore unable to get a proper nights sleep. Slightly overpriced in my opinion.
