Good Points: Excellent friendly service, spotless room well designed where everything worked
Further Comments: Phoned when booking and very helpful receptionist was able to advise on locality and restaurants. Comfortable clean room, a surprising rarity from many hotels, this was our first visit to Novotel and we were very impressed, everything was just right! Thank you!

Good Points: The best bit about the hotel was the breakfast. The shower was also really good.
Bad Points: The top left corner of the bed moved down when you sat on that side and the bottom right corner squeaked when you sat there

Further Comments: I booked Non-Refundable which was ok, I allway stay in Novotel when in Manchester, and Im due to vist Manchester in March and booked Novotel West by mistake and tried phoneing Novotel to see could I stay in Manchester City Novotel but would not change booking for me. As they are the same Hotel I thought you might be of help but got a no no.

Good Points: The room was spacious, quiet, clean with coffee/tea making facilities plenty of hanging space and everything I wanted.
Bad Points: Nothing, it was just what I wanted.
Further Comments: I have no more to say I came to watch Man.U v Portsmouth I could not book hotels near the ground because I left it late, I went on the internet found this hotel and I am very glad I did because it was slendid.

Good Points: Excellent location (Manchester City Centre). Quiet and dark with curtains closed.
Bad Points: More choice in the free in-room hot drinks. More TV cahnnels available. The Sauna and Fitness Suite were also closed when I tried to visit.

Good Points: Quiet room with adequate facilities apart from the number of milk cartons-there were only 4 for 2 people who MUST enjoy STRONG tea/coffee
Bad Points: Room was poorly lit. The seperate toilet was too small a space to get into to easily!
Further Comments: The room description was shown as 'double' but as I informed them that we were 2 ladies, we had expected a twin bed room when we found we had a double bed. We understood 'double' to mean double occupancy which does not necessarilly mean 'same sex 'couple'. This should be made clearer when booking. The problem was overcome by us asking for the sofa bed to be made up.

Further Comments: I would prefer that if a room has a fridge in they could put a complementary pint of fresh milk in as the milk that is on the tea tray is not very nice. I always go and buy a pint of milk. I know it is only a small fault, but I feel it could be a good thing. Thank you

Further Comments: Very good hotel, in the heart of the city. Very convenient for the Palace Theatre, China Town and the Christmas Market in Albert Square. The hotel was good value, the bedroom was well equipped with a high standard of cleanliness and the staff were very professional. Thank you, we will certainly consider booking the hotel again for a trip to Manchester.
