Good Points: clean comfortable,quite and close to all we wanted to visit good car parking
Bad Points: the bar left a bit to be desired
Further Comments: pleasant helpful staff very clean,good food,very good acess to the city,but could do with more tv stations for those wet days

Good Points: The accomadation was really nice, clean, friendly and comfortable real value for money.
Bad Points: There wasn't anything i disliked, the room was small but for a short stay it was perfect and well priced.
Further Comments: The hotel, can't fault it. It was right near the town center and was an enjoyable stay, no problems with check-in and had all the information i needed on arrival.

Further Comments: when booking via the telephone i stressed i would like a smoking room and was advised this would be asked for. On arrival after a 2 hour drive i asked for a coffee and was told the bar did not open till 5.30pm and the directed to a pub down the road. When checking in i was told the hotel was no smoking so i was misinformed on booking. The bathroom was dirty the bin had not been emptied from the previous guest.The door to our room would not locked i was told to slam it!It still wouldnt lock so maintainance were called at 4pm. At 9pm they still hadnt arrived no other room was availible so we slept with a chair wedged under the door handle. we had booked for 2 nights but checked out after one nights stay we had no offer of compensation it completly ruin the weekend .

Good Points: The position to city centre was excellent and the off road parking. The breakfast and service was good
Bad Points: The only criticism was that the room needed a duster above head height which i am sure will be done

Good Points: Enough to come back another time.

Further Comments: Over all there's not much to complain about. The visit was a last moment thought and booking. However a better on line map of the hotel and its town position would be of use not only to customers with a booking, but would further attract those browsing.

Good Points: The central location and parking facilities were ideal. The room was clean and well maintained.
Bad Points: Nothing.
Further Comments: The hotel itself was fine and the breakfast was excellent. However, on the night time we visited the bar and found that we were overcharged twice because the inexperienced bar staff charged for a double spirit and mixer when it should only have been a single mixer. We didn't buy anything else after we discovered this. All other staff were pleasant and helpful.

Good Points: VERY GOOD LOCATION JUST OUTSIDE THE CITY WALLS.THE DAYTIME STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELFUL.IF YOU LIKE A GOOD FILLING BREAKFAST THIS IS THE HOTEL FOR YOU.
Bad Points: WE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL FROM THE TUES TO THE FRID AND THE LIFT WAS OFF ALL THIS TIME EVEN AFTER SEVERAL COMPLAINTS.
Further Comments: I WOULD'NT SAY THIS WAS THE WORST HOTEL IVE STAYED IN BUT IT CERTAINLY WAS NOT THE BEST I WOULD ONLY GIVE IT A TWO STAR RATING. THE LIFT WAS NOT WORKING THE ENTIRE THREE DAYS WE WERE THERE.THE BEDROOM WINDOWS BOTH INSIDE AND OUT WERE DIRTY AND THE SHOWER CURTAIN WAS ALL STAINED, BUT IF YOU LIKE A CENTRAL LOCATION JUST OUTSIDE THE OLD TOWN WALLS AND A GOOD AND I MEAN GOOD HEARTY BREAKFAST THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

Further Comments: the hotel was o.k. maybe a little expensive but realise we where perhaps paying for the position. The food at breakfast and dinner were very good and the staff made you feel welcome.

Further Comments: The hotel was perfect for our needs, all areas were clean and cared for. Breakfast and diner were very good and served by courteous and pleasent staff. The only negative part was that the bar and restaurant was closed on one night due to a wedding reception taking place. Perhaps potential guests could be informed that the facilities would not be available when they are making a reservation. Overall full marks!

Good Points: Convenient location and good free parking.
Bad Points: Room was very basic nothing special considering it was over ﾣ100 per night I expected something a little more plush. TV was tiny and only offered 4 channels, remote didnt work and desk space was poor. Bathroom wasnt all that clean and very dated. Shower was poor.
Further Comments: The overall stay was ok as I wasnt in the hotel that much. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. This hotel is overpriced in my opinion.

Good Points: The Location of the hotel
Bad Points: Service on Sunday morning was a disgrace, we walked out and left.
Further Comments: Over priced, i stay in London all the time and can get much better hotels, with much better service and falcilities at the same price or cheaper.

Good Points: Proximity into City Centre and car parking.
Bad Points: I was very disappointed with the room. Although it was a fair size I am not sure whether the cleaners know how to use a duster!! It could have done with a good clean around skirting boards, shelves etc. The bathroom was very cramped and in dire need of a refurb. Breakfasts were nice, but it did make you wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. In saying this, I am particularly fussy.
Further Comments: The reception staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel itself was rather disappointing and wasn't worth the money for what it was. The bar area was quite nice, although they ran out of white wine on the Saturday night!!!!
