Good Points: Large room, clean and fresh. Lovely bathroom, courtious staff, excellent service throughout.
Bad Points: Room got a little cold and was unable to turn on heating.
Further Comments: Excellent location and super accommodation. Only wished we could have stayed longer, but will definately stay again and use the facilities.

Good Points: Large room, comfortable bed, nice decor and nice roomy bathroom
Bad Points: Cleaning could be better, wew had one dirty stained piollowcase and the beautiful red carpet could have been hoovered better
Further Comments: The staff were very pleasant and so helpful. The food was excellent with two nice restaurants to choose from. the information received from the Vale was clear and the booking was easy. we had alovely stay and the only small critisim was the dirty pillowcase and maybe they need to invest in new hoovers to clean the carpets - I know red is a difficult colour to maintain.

Good Points: The space and quality of the Garden Suite, however the shower did not work.
Bad Points: The fact that we had to go outside to reach the facilities of the hotel.
Further Comments: Overall we had a fantastic weekend, apart from Arsenal loosing, the young man that bought our room service order was excellent and continued to be friendly and attentive whenever we saw him, [i'm only sorry not to have got his name]. Perhaps you could check and thank him for us. As before the only dissapointment was the shower not working properly but this did not spoil things at all, thank you all very much, look forward to returning, perhaps for the F.A.Cup final!!!!!!!!

Further Comments: I really thought this hotel had everything that we needed for our mini break and I will be visiting this hotel again in the future.

Good Points: Our room was described as standard. However, it was very spacious and comfortable.
Bad Points: Our room (132) was adjacent to a stairwell which meant some late night noise. I felt this fact should have been communicated at the time of booking.
Further Comments: As above, the location of the room should have been made known to us. Also, my wife was unable to book any treatments at the spa. Again I feel we should have been informed of the unavailability of this service at the time of booking. However, these were small prices to pay in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Good Points: Spacious, comfortable bed, newly refurbished, quiet, satellite channels(Sky Sport in particular)good food, very competitive rate (ￂﾣ75 B&B)
Bad Points: Very little except that the signposting to the hotel from the M4 could be improved.
Further Comments: We very much enjoyed our one night stay and would definitely suggest that our family join us next time if similar room rates could be found. On a longer trip we could take advantage of the excellent sports and spa facilities and enjoy a longer relaxing break with family or friends. We have relatives close by and it will make an ideal base for visiting them. We would definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

Good Points: Decent size, clean rooms. Pound for Pound, the Vale is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Have now stayed there twice and both stays were enjoyable.
Further Comments: It's about 15 minutes or so drive into Cardiff centre but if you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. It's out the way of all the hustle and bustle but it's great value for money. Very clean and modern large size rooms. Would recommend and definitely stay there again without any hesitation.

Bad Points: The red in the room is not very relaxing
Further Comments: Dinning in the restaurant, we were 4 and we did not have one meal that did satisfy our expectation and the price we did pay. Then we went to the bar, no music, no atmosphere! Breakfast was what you would expect in a Lloyd￢ﾀﾙs bar for ￂﾣ2.99 and a pint￢ﾀﾦ not in a 4 star hotel, layout of the buffet was appalling. The hotel and the leisure club are good but the food and beverage offer is very poor
