Bad Points: we were given a suite,there were no robes ,slippers,mini bar,wine glasses is was in fact a family room with 3 beds .The restaurant in outside the hotel a minute or two walk ,I did not know this and only had an evening dress,as in was October it was a cold walk!
Further Comments: I wish I had known that the restaurant was outside. the staff were not helpfull as the breakfast is served in different rooms on different days, we had to find this out for ourselves. On checkout we were not asked if everything was ok during our stay [ maybe just as well ]The bathroom had broken tiles in it and the edge of the shower cubicle was thick with dust! This hotel is classed as a 4* but my husband and I think it is a 3* charging 5* prices

Good Points: Friendly staff, unexpected balcony in room
Bad Points: Room was next to the store cupboard so woken up at 7am on both days by staff banging about. Also no blackout curtain and those that were there left gaps so light came in at 5am
Further Comments: Nice hotel, could do with proper blackout curtains and the cleaning staff being quieter untill at least 8pm, but other than that I'd go back (with ear plugs and blindfold)

Good Points: Good room, satellite tv, good buffet breakfast
Bad Points: Building work going on at moment so breakfast is in a basement room which is a bit hot - quality just as good though.
Further Comments: Good value at the moment. Building work going on at the moment but not too intrusive apart from breakfast arrangements (see comments above). Car park always pretty full so you may have to walk a bit to the entrance.

Further Comments: did not have a window to open, hence room was too hot. golf bar provided food at reasonable prices. rooms a little worn.

Bad Points: Free porn on four TV channels - doesn't give a good impression to the solo female traveller
Further Comments: This hotel seems to be geared towards male golfing parties. The only woman displayed in the hotel golfing brochure was wearing a bikini and advertising a holiday resort. Also, channels 6 to 10 on the TV were showing porn which wasn't even pay to view. I'm glad I didn't have my children with me.

Good Points: Mid-week prices are very good value, considering the excellent gym & leisure facilities that are included.
Bad Points: One restaurant was open , of relatively modest capacity, and pre-booking requirement wasn￢ﾀﾙt explained at check-in. Therefore, table wasn￢ﾀﾙt available until close to 10pm for evening meal. That said, the food was good.
Further Comments: You would be hard-pressed to fault the facilities at the hotel. As a fitness ￢ﾀﾜaddict￢ﾀﾝ the leisure facilities were excellent and, if I was a golfer, I would no doubt love the available courses. The rooms were good and the staff were helpful and cheerful. Overall, excellent value.

Further Comments: This hotel is undoubtedly one of class, stunning views and in a quiet ideal location. Excellent facilities, swimming pool, health spa and of course golf. Cleanliness was of the highest order with fine restauarants and bars. A hotel to be highly recommended.

Good Points: From the moment we walked in there was an air of friendliness and welcome. The staff were friendly and attentive but not overpowering; the room was lovely and the food was fantastic.
Bad Points: Bar prices!
Further Comments: The hotel had everything for the business travellor or for someone on a leisure break. The facilities were more than adequate - I only wish I'd had more time so as to try out the beauty treatments. The setting, out in the countryside, was peaceful and the grounds of the hotel invited you to wander around in them. All in all, a lovely hotel and one well worth another (longer) visit
