Good Points: clean and tidy...
Bad Points: could have more choice on the menus... breakfast, dinner and room service...
Further Comments: Not much i'd change, just to have a bit more choice on the menus in the restaurants and for room service.

Good Points: Lovely warm pool
Bad Points: Noisy people in the corridors at 4 in the morning. You cannot help that but can anything be done
Further Comments: Would like a bit more on the dinner menu. Breakfast excellent.

Good Points: Ample parking, good breakfast choice.
Bad Points: It was pretty basic, and for a new hotel very disappointing. The worse part was that we had unclean towels on our arrival, even after several requests for them to be changed, they never were and we ended up using our own!
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known how close the nearest outside restaurant and bar were. I would also have liked to have seen a proper picture of the bedrooms, which on the website were totally different to the room we stayed in. The bar area was uninviting. Restaurant had the same menu as the bar and as we were eating dinner, the staff were setting up for breakfast which was quite intrusive. Loud music played until after 2am. Noisy residents and door slamming after 2am. Not much sound proofing. Very disappointing. Would not stay again unless drastic action taken to improve housekeeping and sound proofing.

Good Points: A modern hotel with good facilities
Bad Points: Not being able to use the hotel restaraunt on both eveings because it was booked for Christmas function. Whilst the hotel ensured that we had a non-smoking room the smell of cigarettes permeated through the corridors.
Further Comments: The hotel is located near enough to Newcastle to allow you to spend time shopping and also gives easy access to the North East Coast.

Good Points: Clean and spacious room. (We were upgraded to a family room)
Further Comments: Easy access from the A1 with plenty of parking space. The room was very clean and well laid out with plenty of room. The food was excellent and reasonably priced (A'la carte) with an even cheaper option in the lounge bar. The leisure facilities were fantastic, just what was required after a day shopping. Also well situated for use of the Metro to the city centre/Gateshead (no need to take the car into the city centre). We walked to the Metro (about 10/15 minutes) but there is some parking at the station to leave the car.

Good Points: Spacious rooms and reasonably modern
Bad Points: Bathroom towels and toiletries set up for one - we had to help ourselves to spare towels left in main room
| Further Comments: The hotel is easy to find on the North-East side of Newcastle, but is a bit out of the way for the city centre (ᅡᆪ10 taxi ride). Nonetheless, the good facilities and price more than make up for the distance from city centre.
Sunday morning breakfast was a bit chaotic: waiting for clean bowls, long queues for cooked breakfast, but choice and value were good and availability fair at 10am. |

Good Points: Children were welcome
Bad Points: No room for 2 adults and 2 children available. Had to book two double rooms - each double room could easily be made into a room for 4.

| Good Points: Liked the special offer package price
Loved the pool & sauna. |
Bad Points: Standard rate for 1 night too expensive for us.
Further Comments: Staff avoided eye contact and went about doing their job. Not sure if anyone was happy? keen? certainly not welcoming. Steak was cold before steak knife was found. No large swimming costumes for sale as We had forgotten ours
