Good Points: Good central location at a reasonable price. Good breakfast and clean room.
Bad Points: The room was on the small side, but this was expected from the information on-line
Further Comments: On the whole the hotel was as expected which was good value for the money. The central location and car parking facility enabled you to not have to use the car in order to eat out.

Good Points: The hotel was spotless and the owner was friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was very good also.
Further Comments: Even though our room was small, it did not seem cluttered, rather it was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed the view from our window and the proximity of the harbour, restaurants, and shopping. We had a very pleasant stay!

Good Points: Overall stay was very pleasing and our hosts very obliging, especially with extra facillities I needed, ie. hairdryer and ironing equipment.

Good Points: I wanted a simple hotel where I could take my mother (age 91) to visit Devon where she lived for many years.
Bad Points: I was able to book a twin room with room to move around and, most important, an en-suite bathroom.
Further Comments: I was not dissapointed with what I found. Bearing in mind the cost and the fact that all we needed was a bed for the night and breakfast in the morning it suited our needs perfectly.

Good Points: Theb Breakfast and friendliness of the staff was excellent.
Bad Points: Like most British seaside Hotels they are old and in need of decoration, refurbishment and in some cases renovation.

Good Points: Nice room, everything worked properly, helpful proprieter and good breakfasts.
Bad Points: The only thing is that it is up a hill and there are steps up in front of the entrance. If you have limited mobility, your best bet would be to arrive by car/taxi at the rear entrance.
Further Comments: I regularly travel around the UK staying at small guest houses and I can say that you certainly get good value for money here. The hotel is quite close to the harbour and all the amenities and restaurants of Torquay. The room I stayed in was reasonably sized with en-suite facilities and TV with terrestrial channels. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, so you need not go out hungry. Overall, no complaints from this particular visitor.
