Good Points: Great location, Good price, Great staff, decent shower, comfortable bed ;)
Bad Points: room too hot,even with AC on (if it was an AC?). Late night noise if you had the window open. Same comment as loads of people made 'A full english breakfast would have made it great!'
Further Comments: All in all very good, you couldn't have got any closer to all the action, bars, clubs, food, shops, places to see. We ran out of time and will definately be coming back. One note if you are booking on line, phone the hotel to confirm they have received your reservation. After a few calls it turned out they did have our booking, but it had been sent to them in my girlfriends name not mine. glad I got it sorted before, rather than trying to get to the bottom of it at the check in desk.

Good Points: perfect position for gunwharf quays and historic boatyard
Bad Points: could be noisy due to the close proximity of bars

Good Points: The hotel was situated very conveniently in Gunwharf Quays and the room was clean and tidy
Bad Points: The TV remote control and the hairdryer were not working
Further Comments: I would recommend this hotel for a short stay as it is very conveniently located in Gunwharf Quays where they are plenty of shops and restaurants. I found the reception staff both friendly and helpful. It was unfortunate that the TV remote and the hairdryer were not working so it would be helpful if these could be checked before people check in.

Good Points: A good size room, the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean and tidy.
Further Comments: The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is in a central location of the town centre but manages to be very calm and peaceful with none of the usual road noise usually encountered. Car parking is convenient and secure. Many thanks for a comfortable stay.

Further Comments: The staff were very welcoming, having previously informed them of the fact that I was going to arrive late. The room was good, but I did not realise at the time of booking that there was no restaurant facility within the hotel. However, it's proximity to bars/restaurants along the wharf was fine. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Good Points: the location of the hotel was brilliant. Bang in the centre of the gunwharf quays which was ideal for access to restaurants & bars. Easy to find from the directions given on the activehotels.com site too.
Bad Points: The rooms were VERY basic but adequate for what I required. However the breakfast in the morning was poor. Even the orange juice wasn't real. Nothing hot except for toast! Not the best start to the day.
Further Comments: Perfectly adequate for a business stay/stop over. Not so sure I'd want to spend much time in the 'standard' room if I was there on holiday though. Having said that, I would recommend this hotel as it was very resonably priced.
