Good Points: It was clean, adequate and staff very friendly relaxed and helpfull seem to enjoy their job
Bad Points: Why book us in the last room in the corridor when the hotel was not that busy?
Further Comments: I got what i expected having travelled extensively and stayed mainly at Holiday inns never an express though was was not disappointed!

Good Points: The fact that it was functional. We were left alone to enjoy our stay but at the same time there was help on hand if we needed anything. We would certainly return to this hotel again...perhaps for my 50th birthday this time!
Further Comments: I would liked to have stayed in a room on a higher floor-better views & on the other side away from the Casino noise at weekends Also it would have been nice to have had breakfast a little later than 10am (say 11am) or a ticket system that could be open to those who stay at the hotel to have their breakfast at their leisure. More soya based products for breakfast-milk & butter for those who are dairy intolerant

Good Points: The fact that it was functional. We were left alone to enjoy our stay but at the same time there was help on hand if we needed anything. We would certainly return to this hotel again...perhaps for my 50th birthday this time!

Good Points: The room was really nice, tidy and homely. Everything that we needed was there and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. ^_^
Further Comments: I don't really know what to say, everything was perfect and the whole overnight stay was incredibly smooth. I would deinatley stay again in the future, the service was wonderfull and the room was lovely. The only bad thing about the stay was the vending machine down the corridor from our room... we kept visiting it. ^_^;

Good Points: Convenient location
Bad Points: No evening meal or restaurant which as a sole traveller I didn't like. You had to eat out or order in a take away or eat snacks from a vending machine.
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known more about the meals available on site at the hotel.

Bad Points: We were allocated a smoking room which reeked of stale smoke. On requesting a change of room we were treated with the utmost disdain by reception staff.
Further Comments: the breakfast was particularly poor.

Good Points: As someone with limited mobility it was very central to shops, Historic Dockyard, spinaker tower and restaurants. Nice warm room.
Bad Points: Continental breakfast only included cheese on one of the days we were there and no ham anytime. Would have liked more than 6 coat hangers and more draws rather than shelves. Limited supply of coffee and tea in room.
Further Comments: Perfectly adequate for a short break and ideally situated in centre of shops, restaurants, and sites of interest.
