Westfield House Hotel near Leicester: Leicester Hotels

Good Points: Confortable, staff helpful and friendly.
Bad Points: The hotel was comfortable but lacked a bit of atmosphere. Appeared not to be many guest. In the bar on the Thursday night there was only one other person.
Further Comments: More about the location in that it was 6/7 miles outside Leicester but close to bus routes. This is from a person travelling from Ireland.

Good Points: Good three star
Bad Points: Room very good, no staff after 11PM not good at all
Further Comments: The licensing laws have just been reviewed to allow people to purchase a drink after 11PM,that ,and the fact that this is a hotel and should provide facilities for guests to purchase drinks after 11PM and this hotel closes the bar and the staff all vanish on the dot of 11PM is frankly unacceptable. If you can't provide the service open a corner shop

Good Points: great location, friendly staff, very clean and new, excellent value for money
Bad Points: very expensive Hotel bar, shower water pressure very low
Further Comments: will definitely use this Hotel again in the future. Hotel is above average compared to other Hotels in the Leicester/Derby area

Good Points: Good rates for the accommodation, near to friends. Enjoyed the Spa facilities
Bad Points: Our room was just above the extactor fans and it kept us awake at night. This was our thied sty at the hotel and forst time we had any problems. We did not ask to be moved as we were only on 2 day visit if we had stayed any onger we would've requested a move.

Further Comments: The leisure facilities were not great. The pool was a bit cold, the steam room was more like a cold mist and the jacuzzi didn't work at all

Good Points: The hotel has a range of rooms some basic with usual bed, tv, coffee making facilities etc. The room we had was in the annex and was large and spacias and also had a settee.
Further Comments: The hotel is very pleasant with a bar/lounge area at the front. It has a swimming pool and leisure facilities and a large car park. Breakfast included many choices of both hot and cold dishes. Staff were very welcoming.
