Good Points: The staff were warm and welcoming at all levels from reception, to houskeeping and bar area. The rooms were clean and warm. Price was competitive. Grounds are really lovely - loved the squirrels hopping around in the garden.

Good Points: Neat and tidy
Bad Points: There was an extra charge for breakfast and when I went to the hotplate at about 8:15 there was not a full sellection of food:- no bacon, no grilled tomato, a spoon full of dried beans. It took over 15 mins for replenishments to arrive by which time I had finished the little that I had.

Good Points: Price - if you get a deal it is a decent hotel but do not pay book price
Bad Points: Expensive resturant, no heating in room although staff did sort some electric heaters
Further Comments: Ok at knock down down price, restuarant is expensive and quality and offering just not justify the cost.

Good Points: Very reasonable price for standard of hotel. Rooms are clean with good bedding and towels. Staff are friendly.
Bad Points: Decoration in bedroom is ready for 'refreshing' but they are still acceptable.

Good Points: We always like the Hoole Hall Hotel. We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere
Further Comments: Compared to the facilities you have in the room at Hoole Hall with other hotels we have stayed in could be improved to reflect the price i.e either breakfast could be included at a reduced rate or the breakfast could be re-viewed and priced lower. I do think that ￂﾣ15.00 for a breakfast is a little high as most we have stayed in are around the ￂﾣ12.00 price, although to be fair I suppose you can eat as much as you want.

Further Comments: The hotel was clean and very well maintained. All the staff, especially from the bar were welcoming and very helpful and tried to help. I would definetly stay here again if we were to go to Chester and I would highly recommend it. We had a great weekend and everyone commented on the hotel surroundings and the staff.

Further Comments: The hotel was clean and very well maintained. All the staff, especially from the bar were welcoming and very helpful and tried to help. I would definetly stay here again if we were to go to Chester and I would highly recommend it. We had a great weekend and everyone commented on the hotel surroundings and the staff.

Further Comments: *** Had a long journey on a train to Chester, got to hotel at 3pm on Friday afternoon and the bar was shut, very dissapointing. The nicest hotel and staff I have stayed in for a very long time.

Good Points: The hotel was easy to find, clean and the food was first class. Most of the staff were helpful and polite.
Bad Points: Bar prices very high and the quality of the beer was poor. Some bar staff training required.
Further Comments: The hotel is an excellent base to visit Chester and the surrounding area. Ideally situated, just off the motorway but in a quiet peaceful location not far from the centre of Chester.

Good Points: it was a nice stay set in excellent surrondings staff were kind and very helpful espaically the male member of staff with earing what a character he was briliant
Bad Points: room phone didnt work (118) service in resturant was poor and i thought the manager in there was very arrogant
