Good Points: Cleanliness, friendliness, facilities

Further Comments: Exceeded expectations (especially given the price) - really inexpensive.

Bad Points: Staff were very slow
Further Comments: Late night wedding party were quite noisy and did desturb us during the night even though we were a fair way from the function. More consideration should be given to overnight guests.

Good Points: Easy access from M42. Dinner was above expectations. Spacious room.
Bad Points: Lounge furniture was tired and dirty. Bathroom was beginning to show signs of wear and tear.
Further Comments: Good value and very convenient. The food was of a very good standard. The staff were very pleasant. But the lounge furniture was pretty poor and detracted from what was a pleasant experience.

Good Points: Spacious, comfortable room with everything we needed.
Further Comments: The hotel was welcoming, friendly and comfortable. We arrived late afternoon and were looking forward to our dinner. However we did feel the restaurant prices were a wee bit expensive, so we went elsewhere. However, in the morning we had the full English buffet breakfast & it was absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Which made us wish we had paid that we bit extra for dinner!!

Good Points: Clean and tidy. The room was a fair size unlike many hotel rooms are now.
Bad Points: Continental breakfast was very expensive for what it was. The fan in the bathrrom ran all the time which goes against the Green image that they are trying to promote.
Further Comments: My visit was functional and the hotel provided all that I required. It wouldn't be my choice for a relaxing weekend away but is fine for business users.

Good Points: The double beds are huge
Bad Points: They were currently decorating part of the hotel and we had to trapse through the painters and decorators and where they were painting
Further Comments: The hotel is clean and set in a lovely part of Birmingham. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but only a 10 minute car drive to the city centre. The area is also quiet and I felt at ease knowing that my car would be safe.

Further Comments: Overall the hotel was just what we needed - in the right location, clean and comfortable. There was a problem at check-in in that we were given a key to a room that proved to be already occupied! The hotel administration needs to make sure this type of error does not occur in future

Good Points: Recently refurbished so everthing was new and very adequate
Bad Points: Air conditioning in the room had a tainted odour
Further Comments: Website needs a new picture it does not give any credit to this lovely hotel. I did not feel like eating in the hotel as the dining room seemed very formal. This could be improved.

Good Points: It was very local to my relations , the hotel was spotless and in a very pleasent surroundings all the staff were helpfull and curtious.
Further Comments: We found the hotel to be better then our expections.I used to live near this hotel but never actually stayed overnight.Perfect for a nice relaxing weekend with all the local networks to travel around if you wanted too.

Good Points: Easy parking, attentive staff, quiet room
Further Comments: Easily found from M42 J2, friendly staff but not overbearing. Though my ground floor room was opposite (ample) car park, I was not disturbed by traffic. Decor was not new, yet clean and tidy.

Further Comments: The hotel is very tired and scruffy the room had inadequate heating as did the lounge/bar area. The room I had was at the front of the hotel, if you want to get any sleep do not stay in these rooms, traffic noise was very bad. Although the staff were friendly, they need to be more service orientated, especially when serving meals. The cost of the room with breakfast does not offer value for money
