Good Points: very clean,

Good Points: Comfortable and spacious
Bad Points: TV picture was less crisp than at home
Further Comments: We found nothing to fault. The bed was comfortable, the room was big enough for us not to feel hemmed in, the food was good and the staf were welcoming and helpful.

Good Points: Beautiful old listed building and grounds.
Bad Points: No obvious evidence of recycling and attempts at reduction of our ecological footprint.
Further Comments: Would have liked to know about the leisure facilities and in particular at on-line booking to be reminded of taking a swimsuit. Why not present the visitor with a good history of the place, its current situation, number of staff, origin of food, waste recycling stats, etc. something with a little more depth and value about the hotel and its setting. There could even be a presentation or organised woodland walk for those interested. Something that sets it apart as a more complete experience.

Good Points: Lovely setting and great facilities.
Bad Points: Could hear the television of the next door room.
Further Comments: This is a fantastic hotel,despite previous reviews I had read. The room we stayed in was comfortable and well decorated.It was good value for money. We will definately use this site again to book future hotels.

Further Comments: The hotel itself was lovely, the grounds were enviable and part of the reason I chose to book here in the first place. However the room we were allocated was small and desperately in need of an update. The bathroom in particular although cleam needed re painting and rotten skirtingboard needed replacing.

Good Points: very relaxed location, pretty place & lovely staff. Great value for money, good value.

Further Comments: we stayed at the hotel from Friday til Monday. On both Fri and Sat night there was a wedding taking place which meant that there was no dinner available for anybody else staying. However that didn't really matter when on Sunday we looked at the menu. If the hotel can cater for a wedding then why can it not cater properly for other guests, pizza and basic dishes are not that appetising when away from home. how about even some local meals or even comfort food.

Good Points: Modern, clean. Very nice bathroom. Hairdryer available. Leisure facilities were very good
Bad Points: The walls were very thin - you could hear next door very easily. The bed seemed quite small - smaller than a double. If you are tall, your feet will hang over the end! Only place to eat was the Restaurant which was quite expensive. The pub nearby do not serve food some evenings so you need to drive to the nearby town
Further Comments: It was excellent value for money. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very easy to book online. More information on the restaurant and nearby restaurants would have been helpful on the web

Good Points: The setting @house @room was fine.
Bad Points: The lack of clean towels,bed linen,shower gel.it was an everyday request,as was the reluctance to refill tea sugar. there is also a problem with very noisy water pipes,every loo flush in the block wakes you all up,also the shower. 5am,was the earlyist shower wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the whole room vibrated. i expect if are a good plummer you,d get a free stay to fix it, turning the pressure down would be a start,then clip the pipes up.but wot do i now i am a chef!!!!
Further Comments: 20 minutes from southampton is only possible if you are the only car on the road.more like 45 mins.that was a chore for 13 days. hotel caters mainly for conference,s. not the individual.lounge n space booked. no bar to use,on return sat had only room to sit. the setting @house was nice but the service needs to match it. college trained hotel staff maybe.
