Good Points: Central and not too noisy - good car park facility
Bad Points: Bed was uncomfortable. breakfast was very poor.
Further Comments: Would not return to this hotel due to poor quality breakfast and a bad night's sleep..

Good Points: Good location in centre of town and far away enough from main roads to be quiet. Pleasant breakfast room and comfortable lounge. Good facilities in room.
Bad Points: Plastering / decor around bath and shower in need of tidying up. Confusion in finding hotel as address on booking was St James's Street but actually located in Rutalnd Square.
Further Comments: A nice well located hotel in Nottingam city centre a short walk or taxi ride from the station in a character building, with shops, restaurants and tourist attractions in walking distance. A good base for either leisure or business visit.

Good Points: Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good Breakfast.
Bad Points: Food could have been hotter.
Further Comments: Room was daequate although a little bit small. The bed was very comfortable. The window would not open and needed to be repaired as did the toilet seat. For an overnight stay it was good overall.

Good Points: locality, price.
Further Comments: Very good. You should emphasis the location and cost of parking -both are good.

Good Points: the accomodation was very clean and orderly
Bad Points: The bathroom could have done with a bit of a makeover (i.e. walls etc).
Further Comments: The accommodation was very clean and the service was very friendly and efficient. If I am staying in Nottingham again I would gladly use this hotel again.

Good Points: Central and parking facilities
Bad Points: breakfast available later
Further Comments: We arrived late on Friday night/Saturday morning and the porter was expecting us, which was a relief after struggling to find the hotel in Nottingham's confusing one-way system. The room was clean and comfortable on the top floor overlooking the castle and views of Nottingham. The hotel is walking distance to the city centre and the bar is open late in the hotel. Definitely would return to this hotel if visiting Nottingham again.

Good Points: The room was cosy and nice - I liked the images on the wall
Bad Points: The Single room was nice and cosy, however too small for a longer period (4 nights = max. in such a small space).
Further Comments: I would definitely recommend your hotel, but not a Single room

Good Points: Convenient although the signs for the castle suddenly disappeared. It was lucky I know my way around Nottingham so I found it quite easily.
Bad Points: The service was very slow, there was never anyone on reception so you always had to wait (even to check in!)
Further Comments: The room was very small, but having read feedback from other visitors I knew it would be. The shower was nice and strong, but I couldn't get it above lukewarm. I just needed somewhere so spend the night so for me it was ideal.

Good Points: the room was quite small, however i could not beleive what was contained in the room.
Bad Points: lunch and dinner, could the times possible be extended? as i would prefer to mingle with the other guests rather than rely on room service!!
Further Comments: the room was very clean and from my point of view very warm(accepting to travellers)!! I only managed to sample the breakfast menu this trip, however should i ever return to nottingham, i would most probable stay here and sample the evening dinner menu., as i found it warm, relaxing a very nice atmostsphere, after what was a long trip!! I found the information booklets quite usefull.

Good Points: Very close to the town centre, the receptionist was very helpful too - We were a group of five, 2 twin rooms, and one single, the single room had the biggest bed!!
Bad Points: Nothing negative, our stay was great
Further Comments: The rooms we had were of good size, obviously the single room was quite small, but I wasn't going to live there! The town was a short walk away, brilliant for shopping, or nightlife. We had a taxi to the Lace Market, only because we didn't get our bearings, but it's not too far to walk it.

Good Points: Bathroom- well sized. Attractive lobby.
Bad Points: Quality of furniture, maintenance of room i.e. bathroom fittings were falling off.
Further Comments: Nice hotel, but the quality of room let it down. Very nice bar and breakfast was also pleasing.

Good Points: Location excellent
Bad Points: The room was rather tatty and cold
Further Comments: Excellent location. Attractive frontage, facade and reception area. Car park good value. Breakfast very good. Staff helpful. Sadly, the room we stayed in (for one night)rather let the hotel down. It was small (cosy?!), cold(one small heater in room with 2 windows)and furnishings were tatty (worn carpet, split in bath, bedside cupboard doors half off, only one chair for 2 guests). However, we would probably stay again since overall good value and ideal for city centre but would want a better room. The recommendation for others would be on that basis only.
