Good Points: The room was exceptional.
Further Comments: I booked this hotel through active hotels,to take my wife away for her birthday. The hotel was fantastic- far above the standard we expected for the price we paid. The room was beautiful, the location was ideal, and the health spa was lovely. The staff were attantive but not intrusive. Would strongly reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Bad Points: Bathroom small.
Further Comments: AS always: so long as I can get a room at a reasonable price this is my favourite place to stay in Edinburgh.

Good Points: position ot the hotel very central staff were delightful concierge desk were outstanding nothong was too much trouble
Further Comments: an excellent hotel with effiecent staff ,rooms were good, lots of extras eg iron, sauna -lots of towels and toiletries Food was good ,good choice of breakfast and the main restuarant was nice

Further Comments: I would really recommend this hotel if you want a city break right in the centre of Edinburgh. Great room with a really large bed and huge bathroom. Very good Bistro at the hotel for lunch etc. We will certainly stay here again.

Further Comments: GREAT HOTEL FOR ALL THE ABOVE. ROMANTIC ASWELL AS PRACTICAL WOULD STAY AGAIN, GREAT LOCATION TO DO EVERY THING.

Good Points: Friendly, courteous staff, well equipped rooms, good services offered in the hotel, excellent location for main attractions
Bad Points: No parking on-site, party bus outside window blaring dance music until early hours, our room was more or less adjacent to the bridge window didn't shut completely so late night revellers heard until 3-4 am, personally mattress too soft all in all didn't sleep too well.
Further Comments: Overall enjoyed the stay, locality of the hotel was very convenient and was as advertised. Rooms were clean, staff very helpful, polite and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was good. Wish I'd made more of the leisure facilities (pool, gym, sauna etc,). Would definitely stay there again.
