Good Points: Bed was large & comfortable. Towels were of a good size and soft.
Bad Points: Chair in bedroom not really comfy enough to sit and watch TV. Nor was it high enough to work at desk / dressing table.
Further Comments: Overall very satisfied in view of on line price for York area.

Further Comments: good value hotel, close to all the attractions in York. Decent size rooms with comfortable beds. good choice for breakfast (hot or cold). Car parking available across the road at a reduced price if arranged with the hotel. Would stay here again.

Good Points: Very modern and uncluttered as well as beautifully clean.
Bad Points: Shower tray filled up very quickly. No timer on the television.
Further Comments: The hotel is well situated for all York attractions. It is convenient for those travelling by all forms of transport. We were a little disappointed to find on our arrival some guests just checking in and being quoted a different - cheaper price - than we had paid having booked about six weeks in advance!

Good Points: Check in and out were reasonably efficient.
Bad Points: Bed was both high and the matress too soft
Further Comments: Overall the room was reasonable, but dusty in places - by the TV and Dressing table. Blinds let in considerable light and the room lacked warmth. Modern style and feel to the hotel. Requested directions regarding parking from the staff and the information was limited and not directionally forthcoming.

Good Points: i liked the overall look of the hotel and the nearness to all the attactions in york
Bad Points: no ai conditioning which was not a problem as it was not to hot that night.
Further Comments: i found the staff very friendly and helpful and the look of the hotel was very attractive for what we paid. One concern was the noise coming from below our room early in the morning from what i think may have been staff. But overall we had a fantastic time in York which was made all the better by the stay at the hotel

Good Points: The accommodation was clean, centrally located, reasonable food and bar available staffed by pleasant people who were helpful
Bad Points: Probably needs air conditioning in very warm weather. Car parking needs to be recognised as an issue that could be improved
Further Comments: Modern hotel with modern decor. Good access to the City of York. Breakfast a little expensive and some may find it better to have breakfast in a coffee shop in the City. Staff very pleasnt and willing to help and serve. more like this please

Good Points: Within walking distance of the centre of York
Bad Points: The room was on the top floor and very warm, as it was a hot sunny day outside. A fan was provided but made little difference. At the price air-conditioning should be standard. Because of the heat we had a poor night's sleep.
Further Comments: At ﾣ149 for one night we found this hotel to be very expensive - but no doubt the price was increased because it was race-week - we had difficulty getting accomodation at short notice. At ﾣ10 per head we also thought the breakfast was expensive - fortunately it was reduced to ﾣ7-50p as a special offer. If it had not been we would have gone into town for breakfast. We really feel it should have ben included in the ﾣ149. The carpark was also expensive - again we feel that it should have been included in the ONS cost. We would recommend this hotel with the above information pointed out. We would return, but only if we could not find better, cheaper, accomodation elsewhere. After all that, having complained basically about the cost, we had a very enjoyable stay in York, with two days of hot sunshine - almost continental!

Further Comments: The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Only problem was there was no parking and the car parks near by are only for one day and I recieved a car park ticket which put a downer on the weekend

Further Comments: Our stay at the Quality York Hotel was fabulous. The hotel was very modern, clean and friendly. The resturant was brilliant and all the waiters and waitresses were very welcoming and professional. The only thing that could've made this hotel perfect would've been some leisure facilities. Other than that our experience was great.
