Good Points: the rooms were excellent hotel in general very high standard and enjoyable. Food was also excellent as were all the staff very polite and attentive to our every needs.
Bad Points: I couldn't find any fault with it at all.
Further Comments: We found our stay totally enjoyable. Having travelled from Ireland the staff made us feel very welcome. we found the location to be excellent also. we dined in the resturant and the food was faultless also the breakfast was to a very high standard as were the waiters and waitresses

Good Points: the bed was incredibly comfy, bathroom was gleaming it was so clean, teddy on the bed was a nice touch! all the staff were extremely friendly and polite, and the food was fantastic! i have stayed in a fair few hotels and this has been the best yet, would most definitely stay again.
Bad Points: Hard to think of anything, but maybe they could oil the hinges on the doors, we had squeaky doors near our room, i woke a few times because of them.
Further Comments: Like i say, The Swan is THE place to stay if visiting Stafford, ideally positioned in the town centre, free car parking - you need a permit from the desk. Superb friendly and helpful staff, fabulous food, good sized room, very clean, very, very comfy bed. I didn't want to leave and would love to go back. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and i am quite a fussy person too!

Good Points: The room was very spacious and well furnished with taste it was well located in the town and convenient for our visit and had free parking
Bad Points: The bathroom bath side kept disconnecting from its fixing and there were areas of mould growth on the tile grout which I always think looks off putting
Further Comments: Extremely well located and convenient hotel to stay whilst in the area. The food was excellent and the bedroom accomodation was tastefully furnished with generously porportioned rooms. On site free parking was a bonus.

Further Comments: WHEN WE ARRIVED OUR ROOM WASN'T READY BUT THIS WAS DEALT WITH QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. WE HAD OUR EVENING MEAL AY THE HOTEL AND WE REALLY ENJOYED IT. WE CAME AWAY FEELING RELAXED AND HAPPY. THE ONLY SLIGHTLY NEGATIVE COMMENT WE COULD MAKE WOULD BE THAT A LATER CHECK OUT TIME WOULD BE BENEFICIAL. BUT WE DID ENJOY OUR STAY AND WOULD USE THE SWAN AGAIN.

Good Points: Modern, clean and comfortable, with excellent in-room facilities.
Further Comments: The Swan at Stafford was an excellent choice. The location is ideal to visit the town. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The food was wonderful, excellent value for money with equally impeccable service. I would recommend the Swan to anyone visiting Stafford. Without a doubt it is a gem within the Midlands. Thanks for making a short stay so enjoyable.

Good Points: We arrived late and reception staff were very accomodating and helpful and were in the morning as well. We took a very nice walk/jog around the area. Surroundings are great.
Bad Points: Can't think of anything.
Further Comments: Everything was straightforward and the booking met our expectations.

Further Comments: We have stayed at the Swan before and have always found the accomodation very satisfactory. It is a good central location to Stafford, which in summer has beautiful floral displays.

Further Comments: The standard of the Hotel overall was very high and excellent value for money. From the moment we entered the staff were polite, friendly and helpful and really made our stay pleasurable. The location of the hotel was ideal for us as we were able to pop to the shops easily and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from close by. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return if I were ever in Stafford again in the future.

Bad Points: Floor was old and uneven
Further Comments: From the outside the hotel appears to be a medicore pub. Once inside it is more than worthy of three stars. Although compact, it is modern and convient for all Stafford's amenitites. The staff were courteous and ultra efficient. The room was of a high specific and everything was catered for. The hotel itself has a buzzing bar full of a young trendy local crowd...but don't worry this closes at 11pm so you can get some sleep. The town is beautiful, nice and clean and their is plenty of nightlife if you want to carry on partying.

Good Points: Within a few minutes walk from train station. Central location to shops and pubs. Staff was very accommodating.
Further Comments: One of the best hotels I have stayed in outside of Chester and Manchester. Most small towns do not have the class of hotel as The Swan. As an American that spends 6-8 weeks a year conducting business in the UK, my only regret is that I do not come to this rural area of England very often.

Further Comments: The hotel was in an excellent location and really lively. The staff were curteous, the food was excellent and the service was quick, friendly and efficient. There was a group of us that stayed in the hotel and we were all made to feel very comfortable. We all had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the Stafford area

Good Points: Very Central for Railway Station,Excellent Food,Close to Shops
Bad Points: Bedrooms could be a little better but understand that the building is very old
Further Comments: the comments above I feel are constructive and as I have stayed in the Hotel many times there is nothing I would have liked to have Known before booking. I would add that the rooms to the front of the Hotel are very noisy with street cleaners and Bin emptying at unusually early times
