Good Points: Lovely furnishings, spotlessly clean, good quality bathroom products
Bad Points: Room slightly small for executive; v warm - requested and received fan; tiny fridge available on request.
Further Comments: The Queen is a lovely hotel with great character. Food of v high standard, staff extremely helpful.The executive room, if on the small side, was beautifully presented, though we expected a fridge to be standard. Carparking at ￂﾣ5 per night was a bit steep.

Good Points: The hotel was extremely professional in every way and I look forward to going back there in the near future. The staff were outstanding and went that bit further to make you feel at ease.
Bad Points: There was nothing we did not like.

Good Points: The bed in the room was comfortable and a good size.
Bad Points: I booked the hotel for a myself and my husband and 2 friends. they stayed in the room adjacent to us. The rooms were extremely small and there was hardly any room in my room to walk around the bed. There was a large damp patch/mould on the ceiling/wall. The room was very badly lit.
Further Comments: The hotel was very clean and very inviting from outside. However, we arrived at 1.00pm and the reception area was very cold. Staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The dining room was lovely and the food at breakfast excellent. We all felt very disappointed with the rooms, and all felt cold as the heating was turned off. I did report this to reception who offered a heater but we were about to go out for the evening and we declined the offer. I did think that the heating may be on when we got up for breakfast the next morning but it wasnt. The weekend weather was particularly cold and I think the heating should have been adusted accordingly.

Good Points: Style of the Hotel and position to centre was excellent and suited our short break, the Italian garden was quite tranquil also the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Further Comments: The city of Chester is very good for couples who wish to get away for a relaxing weekend also walking, shopping and the enjoyable public houses, maybe the hotel should be placed on a map where it is situated in relation to the central area.

Further Comments: The hotel has been refurbished since I last stayed about 8 years ago and now looks great. The front of house staff were extremely helpful and professional in their dealings with us....check in was quick and simple and the express check out was a godsend the next morning as we were running very late for a function down south! Would definitey stay at the hotel again.

Good Points: clean bed sheets,
Bad Points: Could not park at hotel as there was Insuffient parking,and for the price I paid It was very poor to have to park some distance away.Also no toilet rolls in the room,handles fell off towel rails,dirt on bath mat.At breakfast staff were shouting at each other,also rude to other customers Breakfast Items brought to you at different times so your meal was cold not a good experiance

Good Points: Cleanliness was second to none. The staff very friendly and always smiling. The food was excellent. I also found the history of the hotel very interesting.
Further Comments: The cleanliness is always very important to me. I wasn't dissa pointed with this hotel. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was wonderful. My husband likes very pain food, this hotel catered for him and for the more adventurous foody! I didn't want to leave.
