Good Points: the breakfast staff were excellent
Bad Points: the shower was useless, the parking was non-existent, the food was very average
Further Comments: facilities should be checked on a regular basis, it is not good enough to have a trickle as a shower, and make sure that food is tasted every night, the food was either low quality or not cooked well

Good Points: Shower was really good. Bed comfortable
Bad Points: Bed was made up with the covers right to the top of the bed (under the pillows) necessitating pulling it right down before getting in. The TV remote occasionally stuck and was difficult to change channels
Further Comments: Good selection for breakfast and well cooked. Could have some signs pointing one to where you go for breakfast when you come downstairs.

Bad Points: I stayed in the hotel earlier this year and it was fine, this time, the loo seat in the bath room was on the floor. The ceiling height was such it was difficult to stand up, it took two hours to be served in the restaurant and the service was poor.
Further Comments: I was so disappointed on my return visit. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff polite. I was given another room (restricted height) because the lavatory seat was actually on the floor and the roll holder broken. I understand the food is cooked to order but it took two hours to get two courses, and the blue cheese ordered didn't arrive, but goats cheese did - I wasn't charged for this. Other diners were equally disappointed. Thanks Cath

Good Points: General friendliness, courtesy and cooperation of the staff. Cleanliness and comfortable feelto the hotel with good facilities.

Good Points: We liked the choice of small sitting rooms and open(gas)fires - very cosy and the provision of newspapers.
Bad Points: Room a little cramped and cold when we arrived but speedily rectified with an electric fire.
Further Comments: We enjoyed the nearness of the river and the busy activity of the street scene. My husband even enjoyed aeroplane spotting.

Good Points: It was very clean and extremeley cosy. We loved the way downstairs was designed. Beautiful place! Also the breakfast was very nice and internet facilities. The hotel has almost evrything you can think of.
Bad Points: We didn't expect the room to be to be that small but then it wasn't a problem as we stayed downstairs most of the time we were there and to sleep I guess all you need is a bed. So it wasn't a problem!
Further Comments: Excellent experience would definiely do it again, also recommended it too loads of friends.
