Good Points: great location,nice bar and bar meals.clean and tidy,with some good restaurants close by.
Bad Points: small attic room that was very hot even in the winter with the heating turned off.
Further Comments: this is not a 4 star hotel as was advertised on the web.

Good Points: it was clean and nicely arranged
Further Comments: everything about the hotel is lovely from room to bar to resturant the staff are welcoming and friendly and even though i was alone i felt comfortable here.

Good Points: Great character about this hotel.
Bad Points: The shower was a little small.
Further Comments: Really enjoyed our stay at the manor. The hotel is old but has been re-furbished. It has alot of character. We were at a friends wedding and the staff were very good as was the food. Read alot of reports about this hotel which weren't great, but I have to say it really was not that bad and we would definetly stay there again.

Bad Points: Room too small - window draughty - curtains not hanging properly - poor wardrobe accommodation - no heating in bathroom
Further Comments: The website info implied a 'boutique' experience, colour co-ordination, sitting room kind of experience with easy chair/settee and books. In fact room was cramped and whoever slept on the left-hand side of the bed tripped over the foot of the TV to get to it. A large mirror and insignificant ceiling 'beam' and cold bathroom did not enhance the personal experience. Breakfast facilites were poor; limited cold choices and warming self-service hot food brought little to the start of the day.

Good Points: Very clean and well decorated room.
Bad Points: Rooms are very small. Last order for Breakfast 9 a.m. which is no good for leisure travellers.
Further Comments: Ideal hotel for an overnight stay. Station just outside with trains to London. Hotel seems mainly for business travellers. Most rooms occupied by meetings.

Good Points: Very nice room and very good breakfast
Bad Points: Shower cubicle was too small and the shower curtain too close. Computer did not work in the lounge
Further Comments: The hotel suited our purpose for a one night stay while seeing some friends locally the staff were very helpful

Good Points: The hotel, food and staff were good
Bad Points: We were on the 3rd floor and as I am 6' 1'' I found it to be very difficult to use the bathroom.
Further Comments: The attention to detail in the bedroom was lacking, i.e No waste bin in bedroom, no towel rails in bathroom and no hook to hang dressing gowns etc. If these little details are rectifyed I would stay again but because of my height I would make sure we had a room with a higher ceiling.

Good Points: Close rail links to London and easy to find.
Bad Points: Limited Parking outside hotel.
Further Comments: The room I had was clean and had all the usual requirements covered. If I had been informed just how close it was to a London rail link I may not have used my car.

Good Points: very nice hotel warm, friendly and nicely done.
Bad Points: bed was not comforatable and moved away from the wall!!!!

Further Comments: I was booked into a single room for 1 night, and was quite shocked at its size. it was tiny very little head room. i work away about 2 - 3 nights aweek and this was the smallest room ive stayed in. the fitness centre, I mean the fitness cupboard was tiny 1 jogger, 1 bike & 1 weights machine, honestly i dont know how they fitted that much in. that said its agreat location 5mins from m4/m25 and the village of dachet is lovely. book a double room never a single. the breakfast was nice, good choice however the service for tea/coffee & toast was slow slow slow. i would recommed this hotel but not highly & not the single room.

Good Points: We liked everything: the building, the cozy sitting and reading areas, the fine restaurant, the cleanness of our room and the friendliness of the staff.
Bad Points: The vicinity to Heathrow Airport makes Dutchet - and Windsor - a less quiet place than it might be expected. But we were aware of the fact before booking, and no noise was to be heard in our room.

Good Points: Our excellent, peaceful & comfortable room.
Bad Points: breakfast was poor - but we were late down. Many of the items on the menu were not available.
