Good Points: meals in the brasserie were excellent. close to all amenities.
Bad Points: staff talking on reception while trying to book, answering phone while dealing with our booking process. central heating not working correctly. different types of electrical sockets (round and square pin).
Further Comments: ok for an overnight stop. meals good. room cold in winter. central for city centre, station etc.

Good Points: The room was clean, warm and nicely decorated.
Bad Points: I booked a twin room but was given a double bed. As I have two slipped discs it did affect my sleep.
Further Comments: Friendly and helpful staff, very polite. Food was good. Shower was good re. pressure of water, but was tepid at its hottest. Only problem was with the type of room. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend/book again. Only a five minute walk (if that) to the main shopping centre. Taxi ride to MEN arena just ￂﾣ5.

Good Points: Excellent central location, very friendly staff, excellent food
Bad Points: Noise from streets at night until early hours. toilet did not flush and shower was only luke warm. This would have been more of a problem if we had been staying longer than one night.
Further Comments: We have stayed at Pricess on Portland in Manchester previously. Staff are always helpful and friendly. This is situated in a very central location and only a short walk from theatres and shopping

Good Points: lovely hotel very central beside metro and train station ideal for MAN UTD supporters for over night stay
Bad Points: there was no hot water and we didn,t even offer a discount which would have been nice
Further Comments: defo stay there again when travelling over to watch MAN UTD but will hope we have hot water and would prefair room in the back because front of hotel very noisey with traffic outside

Good Points: We liked the fact that it was in a good location in order to access different areas of the city for the nightlife.
Bad Points: The accommodation was tidy only issue was there wasnt enough clean air coming into the room though i did try and open a couple of windows
Further Comments: Good hotel for young couples looking to have a good night on the town but if you require a room with a window ask about the view. We had to request a change of room as we couldnt reach the one window in the room to even look out of it which made me feel very closed in but we were were moved immediately to a room on the lower floor which was good. The breakfast area was well presented with plenty of choice and the service was excellent too.

Good Points: Easy access from nearest station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. We had two rooms and they were allocated close by each other so we could be near our friends.
Bad Points: The lighting in the room was a bit dim for getting ready for a night out, although the bathroom was well lit so served the purpose. The windows could have been easier to open as it was quite a warm night. I think the hotel is partly being refurbished but the price we paid was fairly good value for money.
Further Comments: Good location and friendly. Not too far to walk to pubs and bars although we used taxi's but even then not too expensive for a one off. Although I'm not so sure I would stay in Manchester again after I had my purse stolen (not in the hotel but in a kebab shop across the road! Warning to any other young female customers! Possibly my own fault and could happen anywhere!) Hotel staff were very sympathetic and offered any help they could. Overall we did have a good time. Would have liked to have made it down for breakfast though!!!

Good Points: Good sized room with comfortable beds and a sofa. Tea making facilities, hair dryer and television.
Bad Points: The bathroom needed a makeover but adequate
Further Comments: The receptionist and dining room staff were friendly and informative. We ate in the hotel at night and the food was excellent. There was a good choice but the menu did not vary over the 3 evening meals we were there. I wish it had changed after 2 evening meals to have had the opportunity to sample other dishes. The buffet breakfast was excellent.
